There's been a lot about the standard of Conference stadia this season but what's your favourite stadium you've seen a game at? (apart from the Meadow).
I personally like Stamford Bridge. For an all seater stadium I think the atmosphere is superb and is still excellent when the ground isn't near capacity either.

Millenium Stadium, the atmosphere there when Wales beat Italy...never heard anything like it Otherwise Craven Cottage is a favourite, lots of character...facility wise the Reebok Stadium is right up there...but looking at places Salop could realistically be playing soon, I have to admit I love Spotland...

This year it had to be Halifx and as soon as that other stand is completed it will be a great stadium, I could imagine great atmosphere coming from behind both goals and the view is amazing from up the top.

This season i would have to vote Halifax too but not a lot of choice really. Think the ground that has impressed me most in recent years was Hull City's stadium last year. Shows what can happen with a council behind you!

Anfield pre Taylor report. The Atmoshere on the Kop was second to none.
Next to the tragic loss of life the other terrible thing to happen from the Hilsborough Disaster was the Introduction of All-Seater stadia.

Old Trafford in the 1970's - Stretford End in full voice - Docherty as Manager and Hill and Coppell on the wings.
A full Molyneaux - especially the old South Bank - was special. The view from the top was amazing.
The old Roker Park; the walk down Wembly Way was always fun - only went twice mind.
In terms of favourite stadiums - Cleveland Municipal Stadium when full of 80,000 Browns fans was amazing.
New all seater stadiums will never have the "character" a Holte End in full voice, or The Kop, or the North Bank at Highbury.
Pre Tayler report for me.

I hope that it is not you I have seen in the old 'Dog Pound' That Dawg Pound in the mid/late 80's early 90's was amazing. I've said it before, but 70,000+ barking like rabid dogs is a unique noise. - I never went in "costume" though.

I always enjoy my trips to Wigan and the JJB is a very good ground. Also the Mcalpine stadium is a great ground and when full is a great atmosphere. Will be going to the Millenium Stadium this year so i imagine that will join my favourites.

Loftus road is my favourite ground - it feels really closed in and you feel really close to the pitch.

WestFalon Stadion in Dortmund is undoubtly one of Eurpoe's best grounds for colour , noise and atmosphere, an absolutely head thumping experience. In this country , The Millenium takes some beating, and this season without doubt Halifax.

Old Trafford, yes its got a crap atmosphere but amazing sightlines and hey its Old Trafford. Gresty Road-cheep to get into, quite close, nice family ground. With brilliant sightlines from the new main stand. Oh and they have sky tv in the concourse as well!!!!

Not been to many of the top flight/Division 1 grounds but the Stadium of Light in Sunderland is the best of those that I have been to, which includes Old Trafford, Villa Park and Anfield.
Best Conference ground this year is Halifax, fantastic big terrace with a amazing view from the top.

Feethams for me - an absolutely gorgeous little ground with plenty of character. It's still standing but a little overgrown now Darlo no longer play there

Apparently some DFC fans are so p**sed off with their own club they wanted to start their own club in the Northern League for next season called Darlington Town, and play their home games at Feethams, I think this was before George Reynolds walked out though, their new stadium looks great but it doesnt hold a candle to Feethams, and whilst I am still in favour of Rowley Park, I just hope the new ground can hold some character as our current home.

The Dell in the 1960's. The place positively heaved when the likes of Man U, Liverpool and Everton arrived. Terry Paine was a God among mortals

The best I've been to in this league is Stevenage's ground. Good seating and not in the middle of nowhere if you arrive early!
The best I've been to this season is Gresty Road for pretty much the same reasons as Stevenage's.
The best I've ever been to, as said above, is Old Trafford, for the reasons above aswell!

evo16...it's interesting that you mention the San Siro .I've been there and its a true spectacle however the whole experience was spoilt by the constant need to avoid missiles and violence within the ground, if anything like that happened in England we'ed be banned for years.

Internationale V United ... the year they won the treble, 1999. I was in Milan for 4 days and all was well but i was genuinely shocked by what the police and club officails allowed to happen that night, at one stage on the upper tier it was virtually hand to hand combat and i'm not exaggerating. The violence offered by the host's was all inclusive if you know whay i mean, even if you wer.nt interested it found you and all the time the politzza just shrugged their shoulders and smiled. Seriuosly if half of what happened that night occured over here then EUFA would conduct a full enquirey. Do you what happened to Inter.... they got fined 20,000 Austrin Shillings

just before i went in i bought an airhorn from right by the turnstile. i went through and then staight away got it conviscated. later on at half time one was thrown from the upper tier and hit my brother on the back! the coppers just kept walkin further away!
as you say, one rule for europe and one for UK
