I'm shocked Jaytee, this is epic rejection of Ned's weekend games thread.
Is it on ESPN?

It's on ESPN, and fantastic noise by the 4,000 FCUM fans.

FCU 1-0 up at 1/2 time. They are really playing well, so glad we never got them. Wounder if they get a following like that every week ?

Why do suppossed 'grown men' take great delight in berating and belittling a naive 16yrd? Oh Ned, Feck off and go support Cardiff. There I beat you saddo's to that one. Sarcasm is lost on this lot JT....

With the greatest of respect Mark, you always seem to pounce on me when I mention Ned, even when that wasn't berating or billiting. Was just my way of telling JT there was already a thread about the game. I was practically defending Ned on yesterday's thead before it got closed, I've never critized anything about him other than his posts and I'm certainly not obssessed with him. Anyway, I had this one down as a potential shock, would prefer them to be knocked out though as the TV companies will just keep lapping them up while they're in it. Them vs Utd in the 3rd round would be a great story though

The noise being generated by the 4000 FCUM fans is awesome. The camera in the gantry on their side is shaking. Superb support - but Dale just pulled one back

A breakaway rebel club. It's a stand against the Glazer's mainly but also protests against all the PL pricing and ticketing policies, plus daft o'clock kick-off times dictated by TV. They're all MUFC fans trust me

They're all MUFC fans trust me There's a great scene in Looking for Eric with a big bust up between 'Utd' fans and an FCUM fan on the night of a champions league game. The FCUM fan says he can't stand the corporate monstrosity that Utd has become , then goes mad when they score. I guess it's a bit like that.

Football Club United of Manchester - FCUM. I assume then, that the American owned lot must be called Soccer Club United of Manchester - _ _ _ _.

Great game and great result. For football. None of that puerile sh*te served up week in week out in the Prem. Just raw spirit and guts, and like the opening post said... the magic of the Cup. Brilliant!

Incredible scenes at the end of the match, big pitch invasion. So pleased for them, think the commentator summed it up: "There is another United in Manchester."
