What is your favourite non-football related TV programme of all time?
Mine would probably be Friends.

I guess it changes as you go through life, in my teenage years 67-70 BC (before clubs) and pubs it was Top of the Pops. Star Trek was also another favorite around that time. More recently I've pretty much given up on BBC and ITV and watch a lot of American stuff like Fringe, Sons of Anarchy and Chuck. The Event has just started and that looks good as did the pilot for The Walking Dead.

Twin Peaks had me hooked on coffee and cherry pie in the 90's
Not been really into more recent tv aside from The Simpson's which has more social commentary per episode than any documentary and more laugh out loud moments than most comedy shows - genius writing

When I was younger, London's Burning, mainly because I've always wanted to be a fire fighter. Now, I'd say between Bear Grylls: Born Survivor and Deadliest Catch. I've always enjoyed older things like Steptoe and Son though.

Blackadder, Peep Show, I'm Alan Partridge, The Office on the comedy front.
Currently loving the Wire box sets I borrowed off a mate (Season 3 at the moment). Not generally a big fan of American TV but this is a real exception (some of the key roles are played by Brits, though).
Our Friends in the North and Cracker stand out drama-wise.

Some tremendous programmes mentioned, some of which i had nearly forgotten, but must add one that for me, was "laugh out loud" funny, the brilliant GREEN WING.
