Bizzy you made me laugh and i did think it was Davd Pleat running around.A ban would be harsh a slapped wrist and a small fine would do. Even the two stewards were grinning as he ran on.Good Luck Bizzy.

It wasnt only the 'PITCH INVASION' though was it? He made a complete a*se of himself throughout the game by his continual ranting /raving/arm waving and prowling up and down at every decision. I just wonder how the older steward put up with his idiototic behavior. Next time we go to Crewe i wont be driving though because I want some of the beer he had

while bizzy was stupid to go onto the pitch (particularly given how far he goes to see Shrewsbury, and this could actually prevent him from doing so again), its worth pointing out that there were a couple of others who also did it and one of whom actually joined in the celebrations with wright - personally i don't know who they were but bizzy's the only one being named and shamed which seems a little unfair.

It’s very interesting how folk look at things differently when it’s their own supporters who get onto the pitch. Not at all. If it was 20 EBF knuckledraggers on the pitch to goad the opposition then (if I knew them) I would give the names to the police myself. Remember Mk Dons away? There is going on the pitch and there is going on the pitch. If you say so our kid… But I’ll wager a fair few on here who would be aghast if those Town fans (meant no harm, just good sorts) who went onto the pitch last night were handed bans were up in arms when Vale fans (hooligans, thugs the lot of them) went onto the pitch at Oteley Road and would have been shaking their heads in approval if bans would have been handed out to Vale supporters… But as far as I can see the situation was the same or? Fans going onto the pitch to celebrate a last minute winner. Just my opinion like but I suspect some folk will look at things differently...

"let him who is without sin, cast the first stone"! We all do stupid things when we get a late winner like that, and if we could see a recording of our reactions we might all be embarrassed. Same as when a player takes his shirt off after scoring and gets a yellow card - they know they shouldn't but sometimes the elation clouds the judgement.
I remember going on the GM pitch in 1968 (with hundreds of others) after a late equaliser kept us up that season. Anyone else care to admit to it at a game?

How about the suggestion that when the vale fans went on the pitch they were celebrating a last minute winner, then our thughs all cascaded down from block 18 / 19 and goaded them, hence the ugly confrontation afterwards...... i do believe 1 of our own innocents went over the barrier from that area and had to be restrained by stewards during that incident!!

dont really know bizzy, except that he is always last to his seat on a saturday , but i think its well out of order people on here seemingly wanting him banned. i agree its a daft thing to do and he has broken the law, but actually wanting one of our own to get banned is out of order imo. Spot on. Got excited, ran on the pitch, got kicked out, has apologised, won't do it again. Ban the hooligans but don't ban the real supporters who get a bit over excited now and then. As far as I know Bizzy goes to home, away, reserves and even youth games and has done so for a long time. The club needs supporters like him. Every case should be judged on its own merit and I would be hopeful that Bizzy's loyal support of the club will be taken into consideration before any punishment is handed out. Quite frankly all this talk of banning from people on this board is shameful. Let's hope none of us perfect people do anything silly and need B and A's support, huh ? Get him to walk round the pitch in a jesters outfit with a big sign held above his head saying 'I must not run on the pitch'. Roland can hand out rotten apples for us to throw at him. That should do it.

There is a massive difference between celebrating on the pitch with our players and running towards opposition supporters. Unless I'm missing something bizzy is only guilty of the first.
Southstandshrew you really should be ashamed. It is obviously being dealt with but you still use it as an opportunity to stick the boot into a bloke who spends a huge amount of time and money supporting our club.

2 year ban my arse. I would like to see how many people giving bizzy the 3rd degree at the end of the season if the Town scores the last minute to secure promotion, and see if they can restrain themselves from going on the pitch then! I agree with Pilch a one match ban and a slap on the wrists would suffice, the way some of you lot are commenting you'd think he had commited bloody armed robbery

I broke the law when travelling at 71mph on the M54 yesterday.
It's wrong, but it's not as bad as going 100mph and I have a really good driving record. I just got it wrong yesterday.
Judge every case on its own merits SSS before asking for bans !
We all break the law sometimes.

This raises the question of how strict stewarding should be. Up to the 89th minute the steward had been extemely tolerant of Bizzy's antics and had the game ended then there would be people praising this approach.
However, had he told Bizzy to stay in his seat and warned him about encroaching into the walkway area then perhaps Bizzy would have thought twice about going on the pitch and saved himself the possible heartache of a ban.
I also wonder about Bizzy's friends. It was obvious that he was an incident waiting to happen, did non of his mates think about having a quiet word and a calming arm around the shoulder?

He ran onto pitch after a late winner, yes it's wrong and he knows that which resulted in an apology.
Bizzy travels around the country supporting salop, much worse crimes than running on pitch give the lad a break. Arrested and a fine should be enough to show this sort of behaviour shouldnt be accepted at football match's.
