After the horror show of the play-off final 2 seasons ago at the hands of Gillingham; the scummiest, chaviest plastic Chelski fans I've come across in a long time - to put it mildly, we owe them big time.
Next Saturday is a massive game for us, to cement ourselves top of the league for another week and remove the monkey off our back from our Kent friends.
I for one are expecting a good turnout from the London Shrews amongst us, as I'm sure we will have a good turnout from Shropshire as well.
I won't forget their fans after the final whistle that day, they really are horrible. Let the football do the talking and lets spank them, fingers crossed for another 7-0 drilling.
Confirm if you are going and how many of you. I'll start; 5 passionate, singing London Shrews.
UP THE TOWN!!!!!
All together now - 'League 1 and you fu*k*d it up', 'League 1 and you fu*k*d it up'

we're going.
I agree about their behaviour - unfortunate to have experience it after the wembley game while traveling on the tube back into central london.
First trek south this season for everyone, it would be great to see a big following similar to Stockport and support the lads - Salop, Salop!!

Weekend away in dublin so can't make it. Agreed tho, the fans that attached themselves to gillingham in the playoff final (not the true fans, those with liverpool tattoos) were a horrible bunch.

Wish I could because I've never been to Gillingham, but I'm on holiday.
Agree that there were some prize glory-supporting knobheads there with Gillingham that day though. No dignity in victory, unlike the Gas lot a couple of years before who were mostly alright.
I hope we stuff them.

Probably won't go - horrible journey
we owe them one, although we have hardly anyone left from wembley.
They have certainly gone downhill since - best defender still injured and jackson not replaced, another win would be great but would take a point

Will be there. Bumped into some pretty idiotic fans after the league game there two seasons ago as well, so not exactly a place I look forward to going to, but three points will make it worthwhile.

2 years ago I found myself in a s**thole pub to see Liverpool spank the mancs 4-1 at old Trafford, thought I was going to be killed before the game! On the way there and post match was horrible. Wembley before and after was horrible. I used to do a lot of work in the area and although there is a lot of regeneration planned it is still bad.
Will be there plus 4.

It's pretty much the worst place in England. If anyone was to try and go to every football stadium in the country, I could easily forgive you if you decided to skip Gillingham.

Was that the pub opposite the train station? I was in there, and this vacant idiot kept on pointing to his liverpool tatoo and flexing his muscles. sorry, i've got a real chip on my shoulder about gillingham.

Think we must also bear in mind that the vast majority of clowns who followed Gillingham to wembley that fateful afternoon would have never stepped foot inside Priestfield.
We had a few beers with some top notch 'genuine' Gills fans in a pub in the centre of London before the game and found them to be top blokes. They had massive concerns about the way Scally runs their football club (they were apparently £13m in debt at the time!) and felt that their recent forays in to the higher leagues were managed poorly. A true cautionary tale for any ambitious lower league club!!!

From memory there were some rather tasty wenches in there who all supported Liverpool but their other half meatheads all supported united. Didn't see the tattoo man - might have kissed the badge myself if i'd had seen it!

Weren't there quite a few Millwall fans at Wembley as well. I think they played the next day in the playoff final.

As you might expect, I'll be there along with my brother Mick and his two little tyrants who will no doubt be racing around singing their cheeky little hearts out.
Clive, I'm still on for the pickup at the Hollingswood interchange. If you change your mind, drop me a PM on here (as my phone is on the blink at the moment) and I'll see if I can get a late minute replacement - Bazzer or fat tommo will be able to swap shifts if last time is anything to go by.
