Can't stand Gerrard absolute muppet and a prime example of all that is wrong with the English game at the top level. Does his classic average performance then scores a goal or in this case two and is hailed as world class and having been brilliant.

Very nice 2nd goal. Imagine the papers tomorrow had we lost 1-0 to hungry. Gerrard needs to get over himself too. Yes, two goals, fair play. But in reality, it is against Hungary in a friendly having underperformed at the World Cup, and tonight. Celebrating like that was a joke, he probably thinks everything is all rosy. Oh quit moaning. Thought you would rather watch grass grow? Jog on.

Rooney was yet again an absolute disgrace,Gerrard different class and too right he should celebrate 2 great individual goals friendly or not.
Sam keep off the Victor Meldrew pills! Gerrard with some players around him playing in the right position is world class and unlike other English prima donna underperformers can hold his head high.

Ok performance, not quite sure what Gerrard was thinking. It's a friendly, not the World Cup Final. Good couple of goals, didn't do much else. Hart did his job, couldn't do anything about the goal. Rooney, Terry, Lampard, Ashley Cole and Gareth barry were terrible. Wales won 5-1 against Luxembourg. Bring on the Euro 2012 Qualifiers

Gerrard didn't do much else. Blimey, an attacking midfielder scores 2 goals, great ones at that, but his performance is ok, give him a break. He, like the rest, was nowhere near good enough at the world cup, but at least he's up for it now. So he celebrates madly, whats the problem, he scored for his nation. He doesn't do it and he no dobut lacks passion. How does he win in this situtation!?

Well done Gerrard - whats worse - celebrating with passion after 2 great goals - or being rubbish and subbed after 60 minutes?

After last nights entertainment, I not sure I'm really that bothered about England, A constant let down by highly paid and unpassionate players, give me STFC anytime

2 quality goals from Gerrard.
Ok he wouldn't probably have had the chances against the very top sides in the World but FFS you lot give then a bit of a break
I'm sure Rooney would have been happy to put both of them away.
Besides I'm more interested in the other end of the field from a Town point of view
