Its because of the risks like this that we wont be playing sides like Wrexham, Walsall or Wolves in pre season games for many more years to come, if ever, the police just wont allow it.

Well if you and other like minded people are planning on taking vuvuzela's to the ground then you could be right Why on earth would I take a vuvuzeala? My son being 8 years old might but i won't be. What are you trying to say with the like minded thing also, you don't have a clue about what i'm like if your judging me by posts i make on here. It was a joke, chill out You have made plenty of posts about vuvuzeala's so it was a comment aimed at you because of that.

Fair play Marcus you made me chuckle there....perhaps the poor needy thugs can direct their anger at the 10 million voters who voted Conservative instead of each other..... All of whom did not vote for the governemnt we have now. No doubt at all that civil unrest lies ahead.

I think you will find that, like the Poll Tax issue, people unaccustomed to demonstrating and taking up the tools of protest will decide enough is enough and their voice should be heard. see you there

Brown had his faults but the private sector involvment Dave is suggesting is going to milk us dry of what little is left after the bankers stitched us up. Then there is this big society nonsense, i suppose he is the king of the amatuers. you know as well as i do what is happening, the private sector will take what it wants and the army of amateurs and the hamstrung watchdogs wont be able to do anything about it. the difference is that some of us seem to care, and others make a big joke of it because they have no answers and are comitted to the daft choice they made at the polls.

Talking of civil unrest I remember a nice gentle walk around London of which over 1 million people part.
It was ignored completely by the Government of the time and we went to war on a lie.

Jamo you loose an election and you cannot accept change so condone civil unrest Get a grip man No, not at all. I never condone that type of behaviour and never will. The point i was making is that legal, lawful protest lies ahead, across the country and I certainly support that and will partake.

You havent seen me when I do actually bite Monkee Answer me one thing. Where were the 'army of ametuers and the hamstrung watchdogs'when labour us into an illegal war and then ignored the credit disaster as it crept up on us? Labour eventually failed and the country needs change. I am not saying the present lot are the answer but we need new ideas. Give them a chance. I am surpriseed at the mindset of some posters on here. Its like listning to Red Robbo and Arthur Scargill all over again.

Quite simple really then, if you didn't vote for the present government take part in civil unrest, have a general election, change the government and the people that didn't vote for the new government take part in civil unrest and change the government and so on.

absolutely extraordinary. dumb and dumber are busy telling us how they want to cut whitehall beaurocracy, get rid of qangos, streamline spending ect, and within 5 minutes of looking at the bbc news site i find 1 new whitehall department the "Office for Tax Simplification", and 1 new commission, the "Commission on Funding for Care and Support", have been set up, both no doubt being made up by "faceless whitehall mandarins" keep it going boys, your doing a far better job of making yourselves look like clueless cocks than i ever could note to mods; i mean cocks as in male chickens.

can you (or pike for that matter) tell me wtf the iraq war has to do with this thread. or is it just more aimless snipping in a bid to deter attention away from a defenceless position. Pab, sadly another simple issue passes over your wrinkled brow. The term civil unrest had been mentioned earlier in the thread regarding fighting at football. Another member of this board said we can expect more of this. My post was to highlight a couple of issues, firstly that it is possible to hold a demonstration without violence and in the second instance that however large a demonstration is held it does not necessarily mean the Government will listen, hence the 1 million figure in the post. So when whatever happens happens and this nasty Government ignore the "people" lets remember others have done before in far greater number. I would also add that you and Marcus really shouldn't judge everybody that voted Conservative (daft fools quote Marcus) as people who don't care. You should also wake up to the fact that it wasn't solely the bankers that got us into this mess.

I can judge who i want how i want, doesnt mean i hate people, i haver judged myself to be foolish at times , dont take it to heart. when i said i expected more unrest, i wasnt just talking about football. i think it is a sad reflection on any country when people feel that their only right of reply is to run amok in the streets, its what happens when people are squeezed beyond any sort of fairness. and anyway, why are you defending the tory party? pretty sure you said you werent one.

Marcus over the years your inane ramblings have driven me to helpless laughter so I thank you rather than get offended by you. I have at times defended the Conservative Party however I will reiterate that I have a free will and do not agree with everything they do. It is hard however at times to get this message of freedom and fair play for all over to blinkered stereotypical types such as Matron, Jomo and yourself.

I think you need to have a look at yourself chap, inane means lacking in substance, which describes your posts much better than mine. just out of interest, what do you think my stereotype is? I'm not a labour voter, not a liberal voter and certainly not a tory voter. I think the problem here is that you dont have a box to put me in, so you come back to your stereotype, which is to call anything you dont undertstand a nasty old red. You , matron and to a lesser extent jamo are part of the problem, too wrapped up in your view that the party system works. flogging a dead horse
