Just been listening to PM's questions and one asked if the PM would be pushing for the RIP Raoul Moat group on Facebook to be closed. Having just looked at it, titled "RIP Raoul Moat you legend", I'm astonished that nearly 30,000 people "like" the page. What the hell is going on? Link------> TEXT Click here to see it for yourself

It is quite scary that nearly 30,000 people are praising his actions. What is the difference between him and Derrick Bird? I feel a lot of people feel Moat is 'cool' because he was on the run for so long.
I wonder if these 30,000 people would be happy if we had no police to keep order on the streets?

i find it bizzare how all these claims that the police contributed to him shooting himself
bottom line is the damned idiot put himself in that situation what happened after that was his own doing, no questions should be asked or answered
the nutter, murdered one man, and has wrecked the lives of at least 2 others
what i find strange is when 20 marksmen are pointing a gun at someone, why dont they simply blow the gun and his arm to bits
end of story

The comments really are awful. I'd be half tempted to name and shame just so that I'd know in future to just simply ignore anything that person put on here Although i'd be deleting that individual from my fb as they're clearly a tool

"An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned on Tuesday. It heard two Taser stun guns were fired at Moat in an attempt to stop him killing himself. Two officers from West Yorkshire Police fired the XRep Tasers - a weapon still undergoing tests although police forces are permitted to use it." Like wise about the Facebook page bizarre?

I did post on Pilchs original Thread was amazed the hatred for the Law in certain parts of the country. One Phycologist pointed out it taps into the hard done by typical 25-30 year olds neanderthal phyciey.Worries me that we will soon have generations of these feral types with no morals and all thinking the world owes me!!

Or, as Alexei Sayle used to joke, try calling an alternative comedian next time you get beaten up in the street. It's not really surprising that there are 30,000 idiots is it? Come on, we know that's only the tip of the iceberg, there's thousands and thousands of morons and thrill seekers and keyboard warriors and Facebook anarchists and God knows what out there. If we and the media and politicians ignored it, there'd be nothing to be outraged about. Waste no more time on it.

Stupid ****ing Geordie's can't even spell appreciation right And Pilch the reason they didn't shoot him was probably "paperwork" and they don't get paid overtime for paperwork

I wonder what the response would have been like if it was in the football season
some still sing "Harry Roberts is our friend ...."
I suppose it is basically the evading capture that excites people, and they don't think about what he has done

Maybe people have some sympathy because it seems that a year ago he recognised that he needed help, asked for it, and didn't receive it from what I read.
Questions to be asked (as usual) about the police actions in this situation. How many police and others were there when he shot himself, but at the inquest apparently no-one knows whether the 2 tasars were used before or after he shot himself??? Smells like another police cover-up to me.

Smells like another police cover-up to me. Maybe he did need help maybe he didn't, only people close to him would know that kind of thing and offer the sympathy. The problem with this group is that various idiots are leaving comments indicating he's a hero for killing people and that he should have killed more police. That makes them disgusting human beings - loose term obviously.

Let's see what happens when someone kills their relatives, will the murderer then be labellend a 'Legend' or a 'Hero'? Don't you mean something like, how would they feel IF it happened to their relatives?........ Or should we be worried about you and give the police a heads up?

When Ian Collins announced on his show that Siobhan O'Down would be on the show, i conjured up a very stereotypical image to how she would sound, how she would come across in her arguement and explanation. I felt bad and very judgmental for doing this..... needless to say i was spot on.
