To be honest I don't know a great deal about either player, Theo Robinson's goal record isn't the best. And I've worrying things about both player's attitudes as well

There has been some big name signings mentioned in this thread but you still can't get excited can you? I don't think you would find a positive in anything STFC do at the moment. Surprisingly Jonah I don't get excited by names being bandied about if and when we make a new signing I might get excited or there again I might not. I dont tend to decide whether a player is good or bad until I've seen them play for the Town for a few games. As for finding positives with STFC I suggest you wind back a few threads and then retract your comments but there again I wont hold my breath. I doubt you would get excited if we signed Rooney,Ronaldo, kaka and Beckham in some peoples eyes the club cant do nothing right.

Both would be up there with Sharps as WOW signings. Whats the obbsession with WOW signings? Sharps is a good solid signing and a very good player at this level. But not what i would call a WOW signing, not at all. Not saying that as a negative as we dont need any WOW signings, we just need a team and squad capable of getting enough points over 46 games to get us promoted. As for Ainsworth and Robinson, realistically i dont think Robinson will come, yes it would be fantastic and it would get a fair few people exited but i cant see it, he scored regularly towards the end of last season for Huddesfield. Ainsworth on the other hand i could see happening, he has pace which GT said he wanted to inject into the team and he played under Turner at Hereford. Would be a good signing if we could sort out his aparently bad attitude, which i assume GT did while he was with him at Hereford.

Maybe a decent addition?? Ainsworth is absolute class in L2, as was Theo when he played for us and he's had more experience now. I hope you don't get them.

In some peoples eyes the club can do no wrong even when losing to such fantastic teams as Staines, Blyth Spartans, Darlington and Grimsby to name just a few. If we all got excited about every rumour as you seem to do the attendance at A&E would surely rise. Martin you are old enough and wise enough about football to make sensible comments unfortunately you seem incapable of using that wisdom. By the way Martin I guess your a happy bunny today Kelvin off to play at an higher level. What was I saying about your football knowledge.

Give Langmead 2 months before he is a benchwarmer. No way is he good enough for league 1. Btw Ed didnt you say something along the same lines about Chris Humphrey? Shows your knowledge about football

Shows your knowledge about football Two players you have constantly slated, Kelvin and Chris, who both have gone to play for teams at a higher level of football. I wonder who was right about their ability. By the way Chris is 22, played in Europe and at such places at Celticpark and Ibrox not bad for a player you rated at Sunday League standard. www.football.co.uk/motherwell/players/chris_humphrey_119993.shtml

Think if he gone to Blackpool he could have been playing in the Premier League next season. Martin you criticise posters for not supporting Simpson yet you constantly criticised Chris and Kelvin isn't that a little like the pot calling the kettle black

Aright lads thought id have a look on here as I read on another forum you were after one or two of our lads.....Skarz and Ainsworth your welcome too niether are good enough for a side pushing for the promotion to the championship, Ainsworth is a strange one he defo has the talent but his attitude is just shocking and he found himself stuck behind two of the best wingers in league one in pilkington and roberts and with him working with your new gaffer before it wouldnt suprise me if he goes.....As for Robinson i doubt you have a chance he scored 16 in 18 starts for us last season, where minted so its not like we need to sell either plus he offers us something the rest of our forwards dont have in pace, although if you were willing to pay 400-500k we maybe tempted.

Alright jq? Interseting comments. Joe did well for us at LB whilst on loan - faded a bit toward the end, but then...who didn't? I like Lee Clark and you guys came close in his first season. We know all about Jordan Rhodes here mate. He banged the perfect hat trick in about 25 mins when on loan for Brentford. He's a real-un. Do you think we might be able to get Robinson in on a loan deal? Turner worked the oracle at Hereford a few years back with plenty of loanees. Not the way I'd go personally but if it gets us out of L2 no-one here will complain. Good luck for next season!

Skarz was one of thoses players that when he 1st broke through into our team as a 17 year old we all thought he would go along way, unfortunatly he never really progressed and got left behind....as you probably know the club is really aiming for promotion again this season and skarz would be stuck behind gary naysmith at left back so hes not really what we need....saying that the lad could do well enough in a league 1 club so its not a bad buy if you lot get him.....As for theo id say not a chance on loan as i said he offers us something so different when he plays....hes a terrible footballer but just seems to score when he starts!!
