I am undecided about whether to watch it at home or the pub; as i hate people chatting to you who arn't really interested. I am tempted by either the Bull in the Barne and i hear the Bucks Head in Frankwell have made a good effort.

Will be watching the first two group games in Town somewhere. Montgomery's Tower are having offers on during the game, not sure what, might go in there for the first one to see what's going on.
Third group game I am out in Spain, as I will be for the 2nd round if we make it through, so will watch it in sports bars out there.
Any further is a bonus, and plans will be made accordingly!

Away for the first two games in Morpath so will be sampleing the England vibes "oooop North" for the first time, When back I would have said the crown, but it gets to busy.. ideal pub for me in WC mode is easy to get to bar, big screen, somewhere to sit down idealy, pork scratchings behind the bar, somewhere to get celebratory/comiseratory chips from on way home The days of standing in Loydds getting beer poured all over me when we lose, or Rowleys (as it was now the Vodka bar) and getting a glass and chair hurled over my head when we got knocked out to Portugal are behind me now... giv me a nice seat in a quiet pub any day now! In better news, It was annoucned today that a new App on the Iphone for ITV means that I can watch all the Early kick off games (that are on ITV) at work... result..

Over Euro 2004/2008 and the WC 2006 I was working every weekday evening, with the WC 2002 games being held in the mornings this is the first tournament that I'll be able to watch evening games in the pub for ten years! However I've been informed that watching games in the pubs/bars isnt quite the experience it used to be and watching at home is generally the better option, I can remember watching England Euro 2000 games at Lloyds and the old 'Bar Severn' which was ok, anyone watching the games at the Meadow?

Bull in the Barne for me too (First two England games at least- then very similar to Sam. Not going to Alcudia are you mate?) There is something very special about watching an England game at the Bull in the Barne. Shame I can't normally remember the end of a match by the next day, but it makes watching the highlights almost like watching for the first time............. if you know what I mean......

Am in Turkey for the first two England games so either at the villa or in a local bar. Then, not sure, hopefully with a few mates at one of our places.

The USA game will be a boozer somewhere in Salop. Algeria and Slovenia games in Brum at Penny Blacks in the Mailbox – reserved seats with table service. 2nd round – a pub somewhere in Ye Olde Hertford After that who knows! I think I just might exceed my daily alcohol limit on each occasion.

I'm in Kefalonia for the first 2 games so it will be in a bar, only trouble is Algeria game is on my wedding anniversary so will have to play it by ear although it won't kick off till 9.30pm local time. I'll be back for the Slovenia game so probably at home for that one, after that not sure.

Torquay. The bits I don't catch their will probably be mostly watched at home or round a mate's house though. I'm aiming not to miss a single game - didn't miss one at the last Euros or the last 2 World Cups.

1st Game: Sports bar in Barcelona, the "big night" of my friend's stag do / uni reunion
2nd Game: campsite in near Fort William the night before doing the 3 peaks
3rd Game onwards: all England games (from the 2nd onwards) are being shown in a family friendly environment at Barnabas Centre, Longden Coleham, on a 10 foot screen. Going to be a bit like the family stand but it should be fun, with a capacity of 360.

Just had an idea Throb (which you've probably already thought of) worth giving Lennie the Lion a shout to see if he can swing by your Barnabus game?

vs usa, my mum is doing a bbq so it will be a family thing. my plan for the other games is to see them at home in the garden with the telly in a cardboard box so we can see it, few pals round and we will hopefully be making a 50 metre scalextric track round the garden for half time

The club have just announced on the official site that you can watch England's games (and maybe some others) down at the Prostar. www.shrewsburytown.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10443~2043651,00.html Sounds like a good move on their part to me.

Will watch the USA game in the Wagon and the next two in Cuba...
I was thinking of taking an England flag over to hang from my Balcony but I'm not sure what the view of the authorities would be on it.

First England game - Outside at an all day BBQ for mates birthday in East London near Victoria Park
Last England game: The Plan - I'll be watching the England - Australia final in Perth, with the in-laws at 2:30 in the morning
The reality - I'll be watching the Aussies beat us in the second round in a couple of weeks out in Camden, then get ribbed by the in-laws when over in Perth later on

Have been to Cuba 3 times, fantastic place, the locals are very friendly so you will have no problem with hanging your flag, if you have any spare England shirts take them with you and give them the waiters they will be so grateful, What part you going to? went to Varadero the last time, enjoyed it but not as good as Guardalavaca, we were diverted to Varadero because of hurricane Ike

Local independant cinema in Wotton-under-Edge are showing all the England games - entry requirement is a small sum for Sports Relief and the local youth team, so intend to watch it there.

Most of the games at home I suspect, England games down in one of the two Irish pubs here in Stuttgart...
Not too sure its a good or a bad thing that I'm in Benidorm for a stag do for the last 16 games...
Can't wait...

I watched the 1978 World Cup using a car battery and a black and white TV and a load of coat hangers sitting next to the monument in Borth!
Shropshire Stars got delivered very late in 1982 as I insisted on watching the afternoon games before pedalling off around Meole Estate and Village
Mexico 86 - I spent some of my paper round money on lots of VHS tapes and taped every game. The tape was worn out when Negreti scored against Bulgaria.

Not sure about most of the games, however have taken off the 18th with a housemate or two and some mates from uni, so will do a fair chunk of drinking in Queens Park before hitting the basketball courts for a routing from the local youths and onto a bar after.
Have already scoped out my desk for a mini tv at work...

Well got a mate from America so we're going to have a barbie, put the telly outside and build him a little away enclosure. Algeria game I'm DJing in London so will watch the game somewhere in Whitechapel before legging it to the club and the Slovenia game and any others will be on the telly outside at the Nags. Good atmosphere there as it's just the regulars so it's busy but not crowded.

Not sure at the moment, nowhere particuarly takes my fancy. I liked the sound of the Boathouse with BBQ and Big Screen Tv outside but got a feeling in this weather it will be packed
For anyone interested, Ive been told that there is a new sports bar opening where Yates was, in time for the world cup
