Thought they played well today always try to play football and am amazed by the improvement in Dave Artell will never be the prettiest player but has made himself a very effective one at this level All the best to them and great fans today as well you certainly can make an atmosphere at the Prostar

I don't want to sound like a moaner, but don't be fooled. Bright and Bradshaw were sensational and have certainly put the spark back in the side which we have sometimes been lacking. But Langmead wasn't exactly on form and Skarz had a terrible game. Improve the Defence, and we'll be on to a winner.

I can't believe how many Fat B&&^^ds are in the Morcambe side, I'd be tempted to give them the nickname 'Fat Camp' FC - Jim Bentley is even Fattier than me and is a thug of a player, there 28 who came on was trying to nail Bradshaw all game and the number 8 couldn't lift his knees up to run
Darren Moss at Left Back ? - good to see Drummound again but he's legs have gone

They were workman like and pretty well organised.
The difference between the two sides was two well taken set-pieces, a total cock up by SCS (not the first time either), a stoke of luck and a keeper in good form.
That my friends is the level required to reach the play-offs in this division.
To say I'm frustrated is putting it mildly.

Three of the poorest conceded goals you will ever see, all of them easily avoided by a defence on it's game.
We were awful at the back today.

If anyone had any doubts about PS's judgement of a player, signing Cureton while Bradshaw was under his nose must banish them.

Jim Bentley is even Fattier than me and is a thug of a player, Hahah. That's ma boy I spoken to him a couple of times in the last two weeks about a few things. He always looks forward to playing Shrewsbury. His heart is still at Telford of course where the East Terrace has now been named after his late dad. Believe it or not Jim is due to get married the same day as the play off final.

Drummond definitely dictated the Morecombe play , switching it right to left and forward , always playing the non flashy/sparkly flicks BUT kept possession and did the groundwork to help his team .
Something we are definitely missing .
O to have him back !

We also made them look good by putting too many high balls into Artell & Co. which they cleared easily .
When we kept it low ; low grass cutting through balls we had the better of them easily .
We exploited their weaknesses well but could have done it more if we had overflowing confidence .

Thought they were an ok side but when we had Van Den Brooek & Bradshaw running at them they looked panicy at the back
Two things I noticed though:
1) Drummond dictated the play in midfield and kept the ball moving quickly and switching it reguarly 2) Why is it none of our defenders can deal with Paul Mullin?
As for Bentley, did he actually play for us? I believe he was on trial but wasnt sure if he played at all. Always remember the conference season though, we were on the pitch, he shook my hand and said "good luck, hope you go up", for an ex Telford lad I thought fair play to him

Their one lad, I think it was Craig Stanley, had such an excellent set piece delivery on him, I don't think he put a bad ball in all game

Could hear their supporters over the radio loud and clear, sounded another poor atmosphere from the Shrewsbury supporters.

Could hear their supporters over the radio loud and clear, sounded another poor atmosphere from the Shrewsbury supporters. Yeah, was always likely to be a rip-roaring atmosphere with nothing to play for and no manager.
