All depends on Hibbo for me, if he is back then I'll leave this bet. If Hibbo is still out then I might have a fair bit on Darlo...

7/2 the draw
I hate betting against the town but I can seriously see them turning us over we are poor against poor sides they will have a new manager they are on for the double and we are in a slump
if they win and you see me smiling you'll know why ;-)

Staines apart, our failures against struggling/weaker sides have come away from home.I just refuse to picture a defeat on saturday.A draw I can see,and that will effectively be like a defeat in our circumstances. 1-1 and dire anyone?

I can't actually quite see us losing this one (although the draw is a distinct possibility) and I don't bet against the team anyway.....BUT it has to be said that at 10s Darlo are massively overpriced!

Right,
Just managed to get £60 at 10/1`s I would reccommend anyone who fancies it to do it now and I mean NOW, got a feeling that will half pretty soon, i tried getting more on but they would only let me place £60.
Now for the good bit, go on Betfair and lay Darlington at 6/1,currently trading at 4.3/1 people will snap your hand off
So basically if yoy have £10 on at 10/1 you win £100 lay them on betfair at 6/1 pay out £60 so a net profit of £40 without even risking any money.
This is all assuming Darlington win.

Nothing has been traded on betfair on this game at all yet. Would be suprised if anyone will biting your hand off at 6/1. Price might come in to about 8/1 on betfair.

People are getting carried away. We're not that terrible are we? Town to win 3-0 The worrying thing is at the moment we probably are, there isn't a lot in this division, anyone can't beat anyone on the day and on current form and consistancy we could easily loose this on Saturday. Don't forget a new manager can gee things up a bit, i remember us under Peters beating top of the league Swansea when he took over.

People are getting carried away. We're not that terrible are we? Town to win 3-0 o goals in 3 games says we are mate! First ever time i bet against town was against Aldershot to recoup some hefty Cheltenham losses! Easy money once our team was announced im afraid to say and thats sad. If Hibbos back and Scs Langmead start at the centre of defence saturday maybe we could get our season back on track with a win and gain some momentum to take into the final stretch of games.

don't tell the players!
At this rate with all Town fans backing Darlo, there'll be a FA investigation into match fixing, and betting will be suspended.

People are getting carried away. We're not that terrible are we? Town to win 3-0 I think your right our kid. BUT…we are not scoring, that’s the big concern. And if Hibbo isn’t playing you still have to worry about who will get the goals. And that would suggest a closer game than the odds would indicate...

I'm still kicking myself for not backing Grimsby the other week.
26 games without a win and playing us..it was a nailed on certainty!

I can't believe that so called Shrewsbury Town supporters are actively encouraging other Shrewsbury Town supporters to bet against their own team. You are all a disgrace and should be ashamed of your actions

I can't believe that so called Shrewsbury Town supporters are actively encouraging other Shrewsbury Town supporters to bet against their own team. You are all a disgrace and should be ashamed of your actions I don't think it matters. By betting for or against your own team you are simply using your knowledge to make money. You have the edge over the bookies by (supposedly) knowing more about your team than they do. They use stats, you know how they are playing. Having said that, I never bet for or against Grimsby because I can't be truly objective about it. Also, you having a bet against them doesn't influence the result. Is it just that you would feel somehow disloyal?

I'll be having a 10'er on that but I'll defo be cheering the Town on our kid!!

Win a few hundred no matter what the result? How much have you put on!?! Lowest matched price on BF is 9.8. Isn't that nearer 9/1 than 8/1?
Definitely nervous about Saturday, but Darlo won once away from home this season and Salop hav only lost 4 times at home. Just can't see us losing.
