Been a season ticket holder for over 15 years, now an executive member. Put thousands into the club like we all have. Entitled to my opinion, that is Peters is very limited. A good manager for getting teams out of trouble , like last year, but all this `workrate , backs to the walls stuff,` won`t get you above mid table mediocrity. Time for a change.

Can i add my full support to your Peters out initiative.....................No, hold on. I've just remembered what Town fans have endured for the last decade and how much hope there is for the future.
Think i'#ll stick with the man who offers us are the best hope of survival and success.
Good luck with your ill fated campaign .

What have I lied about, I am an executive member, have been since 1997, Ive also got a number of shares in the club, not thousands, but a few hundred. This is the whole point, if you wish to be taken seriously then put your name to it. There are many on here who do on a whole range of controversal issues, yes you will get people who disagree with you but you can state you piece on a level playing field.
Your point about it being time for GP is i imagine in your opinion legitimate, it is neither insultive nor offensive so why hide ?
To your point though, Peters is not a magician he must be given time to transform this club/team. Judge him next season not now, Rome wasnt built overnight.

For family reasons I am unable to put my name to it. You will just have to take my word on that.
I personally think Peters is so limited tactically, plays with no flair or width. We probably have the least creative attacking team in the country. Luckily we ahve a decent defence, and an exceptional goalkeeper. Peters can take some credit for the defence, can take little or no credit for the goalie, and must take all the blame for the rest

Every opinion is a minority one at the start. I hope Peters proves me wrong, but in 17 months , ive seen nothing. All he has done is let our most talented players go.

Messiah, serious question.
Who would you appoint to replace Peters who you would think would do a better job next season and why?

I would try and get a manager who plays good attacking, attractive football, Paul Merson springs to mind, failing that someone like Colin Lee or Leroy Rosenior.

Ok like most other's on here I have decided not to log in to reply. I just want to say if you are not happy rip up your season ticket and stay away until it all changes to suit you. Family reasons? What kind of family reasons can stop you from putting your name to views, because after all they are only your views and not your families.

I thought this guy was a wind-up merchant at first and doing it brilliantly.
As it turns out, he actually really is this stupid.

This thread is a good example of how some view B & A as a clique- rather than reasoned argument a number of regulars have resorted to name calling. If you do not agree with the guest posters point of view, give your own and keep the playground personal attacks out of it. Nick (Executive Club Member)

Have to disagree Nick, and no idea what the 'clique' or Executive Club have to do with it.
Anyone who is on here starting a 'Peters must go' campaign is clearly stupid.
There's stacks of people on here who make comments on how the team is playing, the club is being run etc. etc. and who are able to have reasoned debate.
The Messiah on the other hand just posts utter garbage.

I got slated in the press in March 2003, when I wanted Ratcliffe out, I was proven right on that occasion, because we subsequently went down. Town fans didnt call for his sacking until the night we went down.!!!
I just don`t see any excitement, entertainment, progression. All this crap about Rome wasn`t built in a day, and `learning curve`, and `young squad can only get better`, is just rubbish. Football doesnt work like that. Why do people think we will suddenly be challenging for promotion next season. If we lose Joe in goal, as seems likely, it will be even harder than this year. Town fans are the most naive, easily satisfied , fans in the country

For starters the squad will have more depth and more quality next season. Peters has already identified our lack of flair and creativity and he will do something about it over the summer. He wants another four of five new players over the summer.
If we're at the very least not comfortably top half next season and in or around the playoff places then i'm sure Peters will get criticised. This season was all about consolidation, next season the expectation will quite rightly be higher.

And that proves my point. He has had a year to see where our weaknesses are. They have been obvious since the start. Why will we suddenly be better next year. I would wager that in about 9 months time I will be proven right.

Town fans are the most naive, easily satisfied , fans in the country Right, balls to this then. a) Excitement. Since the turn of the year, did you go to Carlisle away and home, Darlington and Oxford away, Leyton Orient at home, or Peterborough at home? b) Expectations. We have one of the lowest wage bills in the division and this means we have had to build a side on young players or more experienced players who needed a career kick-start. Explain how you would change this. c) Releases. Which players wouldn't you have released and why. d) Achievements. Explain why keeping the football club in the League last year with three weeks to go wasn't a massive achievement given that we were bottom in October. e) Progression. Given that we have signed two excellent centre halves, developed players such as Herd, Ashton, Hart, Langmead and Edwards, in a very short space of time, explain why there is no progression. f) Tell me how much it would cost to sack Gary Peters. Thanks
