Born in Birmingham, but only lived there a matter of months then followed a year in Buckinghamshire then two years in West Africa then 9 months in a village near Wrexham with grandparents while Dad worked in Shrewsbury then, late 1983, the 5 year old Dave moves to Shrewsbury, goes to the meadow straight away and is hooked since then. Went back to Brum for uni and worked in Nottingham for a year, but came back to Shrewsbury in 2001 and it is most definitely home I do feel when I watch Shrewsbury, especially away games, that I am there supporting my town

Born in Anchorage, Alaska. My family used to recieve the Shrewsbury Chronicle from local relatives and i used to read all the sports pages,(i couldn't understand why there was no ice hockey section). it was frustrating at times because the delay in recieving the post in winter meant that you really did'nt know the results for a couple of weeks after the game. Decided to move to Shropshire to be near the Football.

Born in Newcastle under Lyme (still havent forgiven my parents!!!! ) Lived in Market Drayton (now at uni), Dad decided that if i were going to watch football it would be Shrewsbury Town FC, whom he supported from his schooldays, altho' he's not perfect, he had to make the transition over from Preston North End (being from Kirby Longsdale, that is forgivable tho' i suppose)
