Where did i say, you said, his legs have gone. Pete was just repeating a comment made by another manager in the Conference. But this team who were offered him didn't get in the media. We all have our favourites. O'Connor is one of yours but from what i seen this season he has flattered to deceive and is no better than Mark Atkins. "NOT IMPOSSIBLE BUT UNLIKELY" so he knows somebody who has knowledge of the players wages. I personally wouldn't have posted what Pete did about the wages, but he may be right. Have you considered that?

I didn't 'rubbish' anyone else sources, how can I when I don't know who they are? The post wasnt meant to cause trouble, I didnt even thing anything of it at the time. But it was stupid to post someones financial details, which should be private. is it too late to delete it and avoid causing more controversy?

Harmerhill shrew says:
"We lost 5-0 and Quinn has them in for extra training.
Did not see that last season."
Yes we did - the Sunday after the Boston game.
I hope he had Rivers and Cooke firing live ammunition over their heads this morning.
When is the mini pre-season going to start Jimmy?

I want my twopeneth on this subject. After i have spent the last 5 minute or so reading this thread, i noticed that no one as said how well the Daggers played. They passed the ball superbly They hasled the Town everytime they had the ball (not giving them time to compose themselves) If it wasn't for Howie I think we could have looked at double figures. We played like that against Hereford and didn't give them room to play. So IMO, to even question Quinns capabilities is wrong. We have to face facts this league is not easy but im sure we will be there or there about by the end of the season. I did Boo when the final whistle went, but in hindsite I didn't take into account how excellent the Daggers played. Well Done Daggers!!!!! Come on Quinny lets start playing the passing game we have 9 outfield players who are damn good passers of the ball..... so utilise the fact

Im sorry Billbo hindsight or not Dagenham 5 Town 0 is not an acceptable score nor by all accounts was the performance of our players. Yes credit to Dagenham, but to our players one ****ing kick up the arse

I think Quinn and the 300+ supporters gave the players a verbal kick up the arse yesterday. At the end of the day you can't put all the blame on Quinn after all he does not have puppet strings above the players heads. The Players certainly need to look at the video of the game and bloody learn from it.

At any club in any league the teams performance is down to the manager, he picks the players, he gets the plaudits if it goes well and he gets the stick if it doesnt. Quinn picks Rioch, does he not? The world and his wife can see Rioch is the weak link and whilst starting a game with a weak link the chain will break.

You can't put all them blame on Rioch this time..... though most of it The rest of the lads were crap too!

Im not, but unlike you I wasnt there so had to listen to Shrewsweb and the lads mentioning the errors Rioch made whilst he was on and when your at games seeing these errors and not a lot gets done you wonder whats going on.

FAO Shrewforever:
Just finishing the sentence off for you - Ian Atkins. And I was saying that in the close season.
No, Jimmy Quinn is a very plausible character and I'm sure he is impressive in a job interview but he has little idea what he is doing. In fact your post indicated some of the serious problems that have to be put at his door. But the main one is he bottled it on the Cramb-Rodgers partnership.
Incidently yesterday has a precedent - a few years ago between Birmingham and Stoke. Stoke, well behind, pull a defender off and fall further behind. The Stoke manager that day - Chic Bates. I remember asking him about that game. And he said that it was entirely his fault - he should have accepted the defeat at worst but certainly kept the bac four. We're dealing with people who do the same thing and expect a different result - discouraging to say the least.

We made very hard work of beating the Daggers in the fixture at GM early on in the season. from memory they looked well organised and physical, whithout any real goal threat. Looks like they have that sorted. Theres some bizarre stuff on this thread including a closet Andy Thompson fan club (goddam internet freaks!!). when will we see start to see Salop take control of games? Just what was JQ taught on his UEFA coaching courses? What are his beliefs about how this team should play? Are the players incapable of following simple tactical instruction or JQ complicating things? All of this is backroom stuff, and none of us will really know what is going on there. What is clear though, is that the efforts dished out on matchday are not good enough.

If Quinny could actually stay on the bench that would be a start. He's the gaffer and now is the time for him to start showing it.

Even Jason Van Blerk and Iain Jenkins dont seem too bad any more

First thing we have agreed on all day JP Psycho Pearce is one of my all time heroes, awesome player. Tho saying that my other hero is Rob Savage, shows the sort of quality I look for in a player ;D

Yes Savage is quality, though how he's never been sent off is a miracle ;D

Can't argue with that either JP ;D
Guess my liking for him is partly down to him being Welsh, his performance in the win over Italy was one of the most inspiring things Ive ever seen, passion, spirit, determination and commitment defined...

I used to think when he was at Leicester with Neil Lennon that those two where the best midfield pairing around. Very good players both.

Aye spot on again, and with Guppy and Izzet as well, they had a very formidable midfield foursome.
Only other Premiership players I really admire are Paul Robinson at Leeds, Jermaine Jenas at Newcastle and Frank Lampard. Absolutley despise Gary Neville, sure Im not alone there ;D

Yes Neville is a right I would say I admire: Roy Keane (surprisingly) Jay Jay Okocha Henrik Larrson David Beckham Gordon Strachan These get on my wick: Michael Owen (I thought he had a double barrelled surname Owen-injured) Harry Kewell and Van Diver Roy (all the skill in the world and fall over at the slightest touch) I really loathe these: Alex Ferguson Gerard Houllier Ex Wrexham Gary Bennett Ashley Cole Lauren Probably some more ;D
