Obviously, the same people who "counted" the Telford following at GM in December also counted last nights crwod by the sounds of it! dunno bout that SNFC, 1087 seemed about right to me.....how many are you expecting to bring on Saturday? a few less I suppose as you're not doing so well in the League now as you were then

Definately more than 1087, between 1300 and 1700 I would have said.
Not sure about Saturday, reckon more than December, then again I can't make it as had arranged workload around Friday night.
When people realise I'm not going to be there, that should knock a couple of hundred off as they will miss my style and wit!!

Judy , perhaps we better have that turnstile tour sooner rather than later and open the invitation up to certain doubters. Such posts only attract the interest of the relevant authorities with their "no smoke without fire Outlook" (PS my firm does offer Investigation Cover ) Given the lack of people outside @ 7.35 and my elevated view of the terraces I was surprised that the gate announced was as high. One worrying point, however, was the fact that certain contacts I made that day and places like Coleham Fish Bar (my pre match healthy option) didn,t know the game was on that night. Something for relevant Umbrella Group ?

Well, if we did bring 1087 and Hereford brought, I think, about 1700, where was the room for the other 600 people? There was absolutely no space at all in the station end anywhere near where I was stood.

I'm not having a laugh, the bit I was in was jammed (i was at the bit nearest the turnstiles) I couldn't see what was happening further along, do they open another bit towards the riverside at some point?
There was bugger all space around me and as far as I could see (which wasn't very far, admitted). I would have thought safety would have been an issue too had there been a lot more people in that area (600?), what with the fences etc.

From where I was standing there appeared to be a lot of space in the bottom corner of the Station End stand. Add this to the space in the seating area and 1100 or so seemed accurate.

Definately many more Hereford fans Travelled.
If I remeber correctly the station end had quite a lot of space towards the front of the terrace and the seats weren't as full as they were for the Hereford game

When you compare the Hereford crowd to the numbers squeezed in for the Chelsea and Everton games, it is pretty evident the club are playing it straight.
I guessed 2900-3100 last night when I saw the crowd (it filled up ok in the last 10 mins as usual).
Wish I'd guessed that on the prediction thread.....

There was loads of room down at the front and at each side plus loads of space in the seats. You won't be convinced though will you....

not accusing us of anything so why did you say 'Town you are kidding!' Ian, Make of it what you will, from where I was last night the terraces looked fuller than saturday, the stands I cant tell because I was in them.

in fairness though SNFC, it must be tough for a Telford fan to count over 1500?

If only it was so straightforward Throbs!!
I work for myself (basically, without going into the details) and work throughut the UK as required.
I have one client who needs support and on-site presence over a 24/7 period. When scheduling workloads the Friday night was still the most likely time to play. In light of this, I scheduled work for over the weekend in North Notts.
My philosophy is that once arranged, I never go back on a contract unless its a personal emergency!
