I dont understand why we sign a £20 prolific goalcorer to warm the bench everyweek.
JQ says Jody is 'still a bit raw'.Bo**lox. The lad has had a better introduction to football than many who are currently wearing the shirt.
Get rid of the carthorse Darby and start with Luke and Jody with Cramb playing behind them.
Regardless of how much work Darby does its the goal return counts. He just isnt doing it and doesnt look like he will.
Oue defense is sound and last minute goals wont matter if we are putting them away the other end.
Change it JQ.

We need to start taking risks if we are to keep our meagre title chances alive any longer.
The play off place is fairly secure bar a total loss of form so it's all or nothing now (and by that, I mean 9 or 10 wins from our last games to put us on about 90 points).
That will mean going away from home and trying to score goals. We have scored more than one goal only three times in the last six away games. That's not good enough for a team trying to win a championship.
Play Rodgers and Cramb, and Banim as well.

I'd rather have Darby than Cramb at the moment.

I'd start with Rodgers and Banim, and if he insists with 3 strikers Cramb behind them.
Jonah is right it's the goal return that counts, especially at this stage in the season. We have got to attack a lot more or we might as well have Houllier as manager.
From what i've seen of him Banim is exciting, attacking and can completely change games so he should at least be coming on when we are only 1-0 up or drawing at HT.

Jody will struggle to get in the starting XI until one of the coaching staff changes his opinion from 'fat little fecker' Opinions again, must be my word of the year so far ;D

trouble is that banim is cup tied for the fa trophy matches which seem to be every other week so it means he can't get a run in the team. next season he'll make a real impact, particuarly as he'll be a lot fitter

So peted why did we sign Jody for 20K First off, there's no sense in cutting back this season and spending less than the wage cap in the conference allowas us. Second, I think it has something to do with Things not being derailed up front if therew as an offer for Luke Rodgers. Third, his opportunities have been limited because he is cup-tied.

True Darby ran his best game for a while. But thats all he did RUN. If you give man of the match awards out for people who run all game then surely all the Forrest Green team were up for that award. It's no good Darby spitting his dummy out everytime he's subbed or not playing. He's a striker and surposed to put the ball in the back of the net. Although he ran and ran on Saturday can't remember him having an attempt on goal very much nor did he set any up. Isn't that what he's surposed to be doing. Can't believe JQ had two of the most creative players on the bench on Saturday, Rogers and Banim. Why did he play Street on the left when Banim's surposed to be able to play with his left as well as his right. Does anyone remember the reverse pass he made to Rogers against Woking? That was what we are missing. On Saturday when Rogers came on, the game changed. Whenever Banim has had more than 10 minutes to impress he too has changed the game. So again, why did they both start on the bench? ?? Sorry but Darby out and get some flair in there!!!!!! It's been proved the last few games, Cramb and Darby are two of the same player

I have to agree with most of what you have said, but Darby looked like the only Salop player who wanted to play and win the game, until Rodgers came on. I feel sorry for Banim.

Excellent reply Northenshrew. A player needs to add more to the game than just effort and running.

waiting for the stagglers to get aboard our bus on saturday Banim walks across the car park heading towards a little car in the corner, tried to have some banter with him but he was having none of it... he was well p**sed off. I think he needs a sustained run in the team before we can really judge him

Excellent reply Northenshrew. A player needs to add more to the game than just effort and running. Alright Jonah, hope things are well. Unlike you and me to disagree ;D but I think Darby is getting better each week. He was definitley my MOM yesterday - yes he does a lot of hard work and running but his hold up play and linking up with the rest of the team was excellent. Cramb is undoubtadly a very talented player and can produce a bit of magic to win a game - but can you carry a player week in week out in hope of them providing such a tonic?

Some of the players (esp Darby) had a go at Banim when FGR scored.
He was probably not too happy at only getting a few minutes and then getting the blame for the equaliser.
The staff obviously don't think he is up to 90 minutes fitness yet. I am still amazed that Luke did not start.

HI Ant. Same with Darby can we carry someone with such a low goals per game contribution?? Cramb since his arrival has gone backwards. Cramb and Jody havent been given the chance to form a relationship.Remenber the Northwich game where they destroyed them with some superb interlink play? More to come given the chance.

Hello Shakey how you doing?? Got any signed Arsenal shirts yet? Its funny you should mention the meal ticket bit. Talking about that down the pub today and all agreed that JQ has made the same mistake as Pratcliffe in signing players who are not hungry enough. Look at Jester Pity and Hereford who are a team of relative unknowns. Us full of ex league players who are past their sell by date.
Been here before. Now I sit back and wait for the slating.

Rob - I thought you were a fan of Scott Howie and Martin O'Connor?
Who else is there over 30 in the side at the mo? Darby - you yourself haven't doubted his commitment to the cause, even if you do believe his performances have been poor.

Sorry HH yea the 'hidden agenda', meal ticket boys. Still think it's harsh that 'perm one from three of the staff' (clue; the one who does nothing? does that narrow it down? ) think that JB has had a few to many meals and he ain't nowhere near 30 Jonah are you in the clique, cliche or click

Jonah i always like reading your posts but why still the Pratcliffe. Don't you think you should have grown out of that by now Yes have got a couple of Arsenal signed shirts in btw. Ant you don't have to be over 30 to be a meal ticket boy just an ex league player past your sell by. Does being a crap ex non league player signed by your mate count

so all darby did was run
thats more than cramb & lowe did for starters
oh and he won every single header he went for
lowe & cramb don't know what a header is
if anyone can knock darby for yesterdays performance then IMO they know nothing about football
