I'd like to keep Kev, but then none of us really know what, if anything, is going on.

if you listen to the postmatch with gary on shrewsworld he explains the tactical decision in trev not playing... they were both here after the game, trev had some really nice glasses on. In other words GP like the rest of us has seen his drop in form and hes not good enough anymore

I was at the game, and the same rumours were circulating on the r'side, and in the crown
but me dad said streety was on salop radio talking about his religion or summat, and he seemed upbeat

Challis' form has dipped. He was told he would get an extention to his contract - no doubt by the QuinnReaper - but that hasn't materialised. So he has moved back to Bristol to be with his family. Bad move on his part with a new manager coming in. He's let the whole situation get to him and his form has suffered.
Street has never been given a fair crack of the whip since he has been here.
Darby quite clearly is surplus to requirements.
A bit like Dario Gradi at Crewe Gary Peters gives the impression of being more comfortable dealing with teenagers and young players rather than more seasoned professionals. As we have seen before the players he has brought in are not really any better than those that have gone, but they are ones that he feels he can better mould into a system of play that he wants us to play. That system is the correct one. But there will be casualties along the way.

And if you have a contract that is up in the summer then it's time to shape up or ship out - simple as that.

I wasn't at the game today and I admit I looked at today's line up and thought we'd get a right tanking. On paper it looked very weak side - esp Grant and Langmead up front - but the manager obviously had a plan and it worked. Could be a big turning point in our season this and if it means dumping a few problem players then it's probably the right thing to do. Player power has been a bit of a problem for us in recent years - if GP is cracking the whip then good luck to him.
