Rochdale had 2 chances and finished them both, other than the goals that we gifted them they never troubled us. The first 20 mins shows what GP is achieving with poorer players and we put dangerous balls into the box alnight, chins up folks

i can see were you are coming from, but i am not sure i am with you. ok some improvement not bad, but we fell apart, looked poor and not good enough.
It was summed up by 2 dale fans i followed out we "we played crap and won 2 0" what does that make us!!! not unlucky got what we deserved

Yes we gifted them 2 goals Tinson looks to me as though he has had his day Derby certainly has We were just not good enough tonight we need to buy a good midfielder soon and someone who can score goals or we are in big trouble Cant fault the effort though

Totally agree Dunc.
Very disappointed with the fans reaction to tonight.
Any chance of a decent debate about what we are lacking in the final third rather than 'this is rubbish' or other such banal s**t?
And anyone who thinks Ryan Lowe had a bad game needs to watch a video and then come back and admit how many balls he put into the box.
Same team for Saturday for me, but the addition of a left winger would allow Ryan to move up front and give Luke a rest.

It's very early days under a new manager. No, tonight was not good but can't beleive I'm hearing about lack of effort.
Peters is not going to work miracles with the players he has got, but lets at least give him a few more games to improve things.
If we are still as bad at the end of January then start moaning - till then SHUT UP.

How dare people have opinions I think there are positives and negatives, and it doesn't take much to see where the problems lie. We have a badly mis-firing striker and a central defender who is past his best. On the other hand, we have Ryan Lowe who is starting to put in some more conistant performances coupled with the form of Howie and Moss (when he isn't suspended). It's just a question of whether you see a glass as being half empty or half full.

Craig, it's not about opinions for me, it's about whether people want to give this side a chance and get behind them or just try and drag us gradually down. Gary Peters has made a solid start in this job, as have the players, some of the fans need to look at themselves too imo.

For the moaners, i'd like you to bare in mind that GP has all the players Quinn bought in. He is not going to change things over night and s**t miracles. Give him chance they certainly look better than under Quinn's regime

I'd agree that people should keep it positive inside the ground but what harm does spouting a bit of rage do on a messageboard? Not a lot.

i did,, but recall games under Quinn where i saw improvement over 45 mins,, only to f"""" up in the last 45,, you know the FULL 90 mins of which games are usually won over, and what results show after 90 mins

Give him chance they certainly look better than under Quinn's regime i had a moan tonight, not for the sake of it but because i care. Ok i accept that gp has only the players mr quinn brought in, my moan was not about GP, it was about the lack of application from some of the players. I am fed up , yes, short on patience, yes angry, yes. But not for the sake of moaning but i care about stfc and i want to see them stay in the league!! i have no other out let i invest in the club every year through a season ticket and other avenues. My moan or opininon my not suit all but it my still be valid

We made a bright enough start I guess, one thing that gets my goat, why does Lowe repeatedly look down when he crosses only to find there isnt anyone in the box..... LOOK UP MAN!!!

What does anyone expect?
Our football club is in extreme peril. We have the weakest squad perhaps for some years, perhaps decades. And 12 months of not addressing a simple defensive issue followed by 12 months of having no idea how to organise a team as an attacking force.
Two poor managerial appointment coupled with god-knows whay else to bring the football club to the low level that it is now.
Fresh ideas. Fresh ways of looking at things. A different way of being a fan of a football club. Over the next few weeks - it can't safely be any longer - the fans are going to have to decide what they are going to do raise their game and safeguard their football club.
Whatever happens over the next six months we'll still be here.

Lowe has put more quality crosses into the box in three games than Aiston has done in THREE YEARS. Not his fault all the forwards just stand and watch them fly across the six yard box. Get off Ryans back FFS.

No I like the fella and he loves our club but he is too bloody inconsistent, he wasnt the worst player on the pitch today though, he also bottles out of challenges like Tolley on a regular basis.

its a mammouth task ahead, i know we have a pi$$ poor squad of players who are not collectivly league standard, so i realise it will take time, at the end of the day we need better players in, if u look at the big picture, we have been struggling for the last few yrs with what we have got, id does not matter what formation or team is selected, the bottom line is the personnel trying to do the job are not good enuff, and untill better players are bought in this scenario will continue>?

As I was coming out of the ground there were two guys complaining that Ryan was hopeless not worth paying in washers. In my opinion all the good things tonight came from him he was the best player on both sides. What we need is a forward who will attack the ball in at area. Rochadale were a good side with tall players across the back if we had put in as many crosses from the left we might have got something. Lets state the negatives but praise the positives it was far better than under JQ
