Got to be Stella.
If however you simply require loss of focus and feeling in as short as time as possible, Tennants extra. Bloody lethal!

Pretty expensive over here, but one of the best nights out of my life, visitng different bars in the hotels on the Las Vegas Strip was spent with Export as the common denominator A lovely lager

Interestingly (or maybe not ), the Aussies don't give a Castlemaine XXXX for either that poo or Fosters. That is why they export it over here. Very rare you see either of them in the bars I've been to across four states there. They have their own brews they keep to themselves such as VB, which stands for Victoria Bitter. This of course is a lager!! It is indeed very confusing for us bitter drinkers over there because so many of their lagers are called bitter It is hard to get a decent bitter out there, but if you look hard enough in the bottle shops and drive throughs it is possible

The Aussie's never did have any class, Chris. Expect of course the ones that have seen the light and married Town fans

staurpraman (not spelt right), amstel, carlsburg export, becks draught, hurlemans (shepherd neme lager) bascially any premium lager other than grolsch which is evil.. out of the list it would have to be stella.. anything other than that real ale rubbish, all it does it give people bragging rights about which pub serves it best dues to the tempature, angle of the barrel etc... too much bear stroking and worthyness for me

Very rare you see either of them in the bars I've been to across four states there. I Australia the lager drinking is very territorial, so you will only see Fosters or XXXX in a single state generally, and all other states will laugh at the other states skanky lager. Unless you have been to Queensland you won't have seen XXXX Many Aussies have never heard of Fosters! Fosters is generally linked to Victoria, but is only a fraction of Victpria Bitter in popularity stakes The whole "aussie lager" thing in the UK is purely a marketing man's dream, just like Stella

Carling Premier is a weird Lager, you can taste the chemicals that make it that cold, strange stuff, not sure I like it
Amstel used to be the same as Heineken Export, I don't know if that is still the case

It is a lot more difficult to find in Europe than it is in Britain!
When you go to the World Cup it will be hard work trying to find Stella unless they are an official sponsor

Kirin Aki-Aji (Autumn Taste) is an absolutely fantastic beer Closely followed by Kirin Ichiban-Shibori (First Press) Ebisu (All Malt) comes third in the Japanese beer stakes for me. Lowebrau's October fest beer is great too.

Prefer bitter, g&t or red wine out of choice but if forced Budweiser Budvar (not that watered down American crap) Staropramen Cruzcampo when in Spain if you can find it Grolsch Corona (with a wedge of lime is better) Stella (the best lager from a can) Carling Cold in the Cross Foxes isn't a bad drop on the odd occasion I've had that

I tend to hate the taste of lager but I can manage a couple of pints of Stella if I have to. I'd much rather stick to shots though.

I am one of the poor deluded fools who voted for Fosters as that is what i drink in pints. I do like Bud out of a bottle. I would have voted for Grolcsh if it was in the list. Also, when in Spain you get the various local lagers, i like thme, thay can be quite powerful whn drink in excess.
