Just to let you know that the OSC with the help of Whitters has arranged for an open forum with the top man JQ For all those moaners out there now is your chance to confront him or applaud him on team selection and tactics and our play off chances The event will take place on Thursday 15th April in the players bar 8pm we hope the bar will be open on the night Please come along and support the event we have chosen a different day to our usual Monday night slot as it seems many people cannot make Monday evenings due to other sporting events we dont want this to be a disaster

Did'nt he say he won't discuss or give resons on team selections or players , so has he changed his mind , or will it be a waste of an evening ?

Well done to the OSC and Ian - and JQ for agreeing to be there as well.
Unfortunatley I personally am unlikely to be able to make it but I hope it's a success.

Nick, I can't make Mondays as it is a work night for me. The only other night I work is a Thursday! So sorry, I can't attend. I would have loved to have gone though. Could someone please ask on my behalf though the following: 1/ What is the point of employing a kitman if he can't sort the kit out? (Leigh away, Luke's shirt & Barnet away, Martin's shirt) 2/ What is the point of having a no.2 whose seemingly sole responsibility is the morale of the players, yet, if rumours are true, does not have the respect of or indeed boost the morale of players. 3/ Which is more important for a manager, playing Sunday League for a pub team or being at the club that pays your wages Sunday training sessions? 4/ Should these aforementioned Sunday training sessions just be taken by a senior pro with no member of the management or coaching team present, as has happened? 5/ Is it professional and acceptable for a member of the management team to let his 12 year old son join in a full scale first team practice match? 6/ Is man management and team spirit important to him? If so does he therefore believe he should talk more to the players, both on and off the pitch? 7/ Does word and honour mean anything? There are more I'm sure, including tactics etc, but that will do to be going on with. Skippy and others, there are just a few reasons apart from the obvious on pitch failings we all see, why some of us are not so keen on our current management team. I would be interested in the answers!

Question five sounds Intriguing Is he that good!! I thought we had a youth policy but didnt think anyone was being fast tracked to the first team yet........... or is it the first team is only up to the standard of twelve year olds!!! Interesting questions Bellvue Shrew I will do my best to get answers for you

BVS, most of those questions I would not answer if I were in JQ's position. Rumour and heresay, 'when did you stop beating your wife' etc. You may have valid points but the questions need to be carefully re-phrased.
Also, why shouldn't he have some leasure time? Why not ask what hours he works and how many miles he covers each season?
I have very little confidence in the management team myself, but I don't think most of your questions will result in enlightening answers.

You are right of course Dave. In fact I can almost hear the answers now.
But I do question the professionalism of the way some things are done, and I believe this translates onto the pitch in the performances we see. This is what I'm trying to get across. Players talk, and if they are questioning the training methods and professionalism of the way some things are done then that is very disconserting indeed.
It was bad enough last season as we saw our team sink without a whimper. It hurt me, it hurt you, it hurt the rest of the fans and the directors as well.
One of the main briefs the new management team were set was to instill a certain standard of discipline and professionalism to the set up. I do not think they have achieved those goals.

It certainly will be an interesring night, I'm sure Quinny is dreading it. Anyone remember the Q&A night with Banim & Tinno earlier in season? I think there were clear indications in what they said that the manager didn't have the support of the dressing room.

i don't think Quinn will be attending it - no point if he is no longer the manager.
Sorry, just wishful thinking.
