I think it is possible to laugh at the fact telford lost today, without laughing at their current predicament
I also think it is only right and proper for us to laugh at telford on Tuesday whether we win or not, and I think we can laugh at their situation while still hoping they pull through
let's be honest, they have heaped curses on our club for 20 years and delighted in any possible misfortune for us and it is only fair and proper that we return the favour. That said there are few who actually want to see them go bust so while taking the pee out of their fans I fully expect the STFC fans to fill the TUISA flag with coins and do our bit to save a local football club

tbh i hate Shrewsbury and always want them to lose BUT i would never want them to go out of business but i'm sure other Bucks fans would. We were poor today but in front of a big crowd and if Hulbert is fit we may have an outside chance?

Today Bally I argued at the meadow with a fellow Town fan, he was mocking your situation and I said but at the end of the day, who are the ones most hurt? who are the ones who cant carry on at another club? who are the ones I feel sorry for? THE FANS! The board should never have left it all to one man, it has happened to so many and so many have been in the s**t. Im certain at the end of this and be it in the conf or in another league next season the future will look brighter for the fans of TUFC.....I thank You!

Bally, I was fully supportive of Telford until tuesday when I went to the Bucks Head to support you yet got a crock of s**t of some Telford fans in the ground and had a run in with some of your Burb outside for "coming from Shrewsbury" Asked myself "why did I bother", and still haven't fathomed out the answer! Can you answer it for me

Good on yer JP i can't believe the rest of our board didn't know anyting about this situation but apparently they didn't just hope we can find someone else to take us over? I was gutted when i heard the news, after anything heppening to my family it was the worst possible news just hope we are here next year which i think we will in some shape or form.

We were poor today but in front of a big crowd and if Hulbert is fit we may have an outside chance? I don't doubt for a second that you can beat us on Tuesday, all it takes is for Jimmy to have another masterful tactical idea and swap the system around and we're a sitting duck yet again I also know in terms of pee taking the wrath of Shrewsbury is about to descend on Telford but also I think you will find many TUFC fans have been pleasantly surprised by the positive reaction of the fans of STFC and the club itself in the last couple of weeks I know very very few people who want TUFC to go out of business, and I also know a huge number of people who are simply joyous that finally TUFC has been brought back down to earth

Sadly money talks. He has obviously said "its my way or the highway" (and nothing to do with Harry Secombe). The stewards that were all sacked is a perfect example.
The idea of a group of local business men sounds most better than a midlander who so clearly wants to better himself and tread on others whilst doing so.

Ratcliffesghost how can i answer that? if you were in the same situation and i came to watch you in a TUFC shirt i am sure the same would happen to me? didn't any decent Tufc fans approach you? Tuesday we have to pay £11,000 to cover the police costs to look after about 50 fans from both sides intent on causing trouble how cr@p is that?Any chance they will stay away ? i don't think so they couldn't care less about Shrewsbury or Telford they don't even watch the game just gesture toward each other it really is pathetic.

Wasn't wearing Town colours. My "crime" in the ground was to tell some neanderthal to stop shouting "we hate Shrewsbury" down my ear at a thousand decibels.
I was in the Cock Inn for 2 hours before the game and no, no Telford fan spoke to me (and I am pretty sociable and made conversation with fans from 4 different clubs in there, none of them turned out to be Telford Fans).
Telford have not gone down in my book as a "friendly club" after tuesday and god knows I did try to hold out an olive branch.

End of the day it was several notes in hindsight I would now rather have spent on my family than TUFC.
Sad but true.

Bally I trust you got the message of commiseration from my ma. I know it doesnt mean much in your curret situation but hey, just wanted you to know I wasnt laughing too much at you. Lets be honest I believe Telford will survive, even if their ambitions are scaled down. I didnt realise how much you lot hated us untill last season when STFC and the supporters were on their/our knees and TUFC collectively kicked us in the face. Thats how it felt anyway. I think this has deeply upset some Town fans and has helped provoke the stance that some of them take. However i shall be in the Hutchinson on Tuesday adding my marvouless voice to the b+a quoir I know you will survive, but in the process I hope the fans manage to get themselves a greater degree of influence within the boardroom. its the least TUISA deserves

Thats how it felt anyway. a thoroughly good post Rob, especially this bit We told them it wouldn't last and that we were a far bigger club and all we got was the hotel / lee mills / andy shaw propaganda then we had to even lose to them, and read all the "we've overtaken you" rubbish, even letters in the press saying our time is over I was never hugely bothered with Telford, but they have treated us like dirt all along and been so utterly blind about their own position it was just plain scary It is people like Bally and SNFC that have kept my faith in TUFC fans though, and having spoken to Lee Carter a couple of times recently I really do think they have a person who can organise them and help them rebuild their club

Yeah well, don't be suprised if when you make the effort Bally those clubs in need kick you in the teeth!
Thats how it felt not just to me but to other Town fans who made an effort.
Good luck anyway, when all's said and done I really want Telford to come through this. Off to Portman Road in 8 hours so hitting the sack now.
Goodnight

Funny enough Lee Carter was nominated as "Fan of the week" in todays Shrewsbury matchday programme, nominated by his workmate ,Ian Jones.

tbh that works both ways Shrews fans have continually put us down and treated us like dirt surely you can't expect to get some back? Even now Shrews fans are posting rubbish on our message boards it happens both ways. Most fans on both sides are excellent unfortunatly some are not.

Tuesday we have to pay £11,000 to cover the police costs to look after about 50 fans from both sides intent on causing trouble how cr@p is that? A one off payment of £11k vs a wage bill of 20k+ EVERY week. I can't still can't believe how much praise Andy Shaw is getting from some Telford fans. 20k a week on wages? And yet TUFC's best season recently was as a part time outfit with Jake King as manager.

The best season regarding league position maybe but the football was terrible and we had no cup run whatsover, this season has been more exciting by a mile imo. tbh i'm not sure how i feel regarding A.Shaw he saved us once but has left us in the s*** now,but then if he hadn't come along we would probably still be at the old ground. At the end of the day he came has done what he did and we just have to get on with it
