Fotopic is having technical troubles at the moment, I think that's probably the reason.

When you go to post the picture, type {url}, then paste in the address you copied, then {/url}, only replace the {'s with ['s If you're finding a URL from Google Image Search, then you need to click "remove frames" in the top right of the browser before copying.

You don't type anything inside the {URL} or {/URL} boxes, it's what's in the middle of them that counts So for the image you were trying to post earlier you'd want to put {URL}http://www.alternativehollywood.de/bilder/burke_wr.jpg{/URL} (with the {'s replaced by ['s of course) To get the address for an image from Google Image Search you want to type in your keywords, see if the picture you want comes up in the results and then click on the picture you want. That'll take you to another page, with the top part just showing the image and saying "Image has been scaled down" - and the second part showing the page that the picture came from. To the top right of Internet Explorer there should be the words "Remove Frame" above the words "Back to Results" - clicking on "Remove Frame" will get rid of the top part and just show the page the picture came from. Right-clicking on the image and copying the address is much easier than all that, however. Hope that helps.

looks like you cut off the image type suffix. All web images end in something like .JPG or .GIF You have to leave that bit on the end. EXAMPLE (replace the <> with [] http://www.grinfish.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/betatrain.gif becomes Try it with the picname i put above first, then try your own again. note: Your picture was missing the .jpg bit: www.roverworld.com/Tires/images/SimExtTrek.jpg

Was my explanation not good enough? When you copied and pasted last time, I guess you didnt run your mouse off the end of the URL in the properties window (sometimes it runs into a second line), so you missed the ".jpg" off the end. When you rightclick the picture, select "properties", and highlight in ONE leftclick the ENTIRE picture address. FOR EXAMPLE, the little crab pic of my avatar has the address www.grinfish.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/images/crabby.gifTry selecting that from the properties for my avatar pic. Note how the address runs onto a SECOND LINE. You must select ALL of this in ONE GO. Keep practising, trial and error will get you there eventually. May I suggest you keep modifying the same post, rather than creating new ones, to save everyone getting Red-X fever! ;D Note: URL and address are the same thing, not different things. URL = Universal Resource Locator - in other words, the "address" of the thing you want to see! That's why "URL" is in brackets below address, it's just the Geek-speak terminology.
