According to Quinny a few weeks back, well he still needs one, he is s**te! When we play at Northwich can we not just leave him there?

That's really harsh. He wasn't the worst player on the park. There is a lot of harsh criticism of this player which borders on the level of persecution. How can he be expected to regain his confidence if he is ridculed at every opportunity?

here here, he is not good enough to be in the squad but he has had a couple of OK games. But he still gets absolutely slated no matter what.

that's fair enough JP, thats what a message board is for. I just feel that a home terrace is there for people to support their own team (no matter how rubbish individuals may be) but sadly a few people don't see it that way.

I don't want to make allegations but if you ask me a bit of "Inside influence" was used on the mighty Quinn. I can remember somone saying that "Quinny will play his mate" Can't remember who- but i think they were spot on..... Hope i didn't offend anyone...

Rioch's in a no win situation. He could have been the best player on the pitch today and would still have got slated. People say why didn't we keep potter for longer. Other than the budget side of it, i wasn't overly impressed with him, he had a good game against Hereford, he got caught out 2/3 times at Exeter. At the end of todays game Gregor was getting the ironic cheer treatment when he made a tackle or a pass. Is that really going to help him, i don't think so. Other players misplace passes, get caught out of position nothing gets said because they are the "crowd favorites", it's easier to pile it all on Gregor. Let's get behind him, encourage. if we can show we have faith in him, however hard it may be sometimes, then maybe it will encourage him to relax more and enjoy his football and get better performances from him.

Have to say I wasn't that impressed with his performance today, also thought he were at fault for their goal...or am I being a tad harsh there?

I agree
Street was utterly woeful today
Missed tackles, misplaced passes, out of position, he was utter tripe
No-one mentions it
Gre did OK and he gets slated
That is just personal

I decided before the game today to pay particular attention to the contribution (or otherwise) of Rioch. His overall performance was little short of embarrassing. Thank goodness we were playing Northwich, although even they seemed to have sussed our weak link by playing regular long balls to their right wing. Positioning, tackling, distribution...every aspect of his game was awful. What negatives has he got on Quinn that our manager can't see this? Please please Jimmy address this glaring weakness to our defence before this costs us dearly. The guy can't cut the mustard..end of story. Practically everyone can see this...so do something!!!!!!!!!

sorry but the people who defend him make me laugh. when greg was here the first time he won the crowd over and became a favourite with some of the fans..... big time! well now we can all see that 100% effort don't make a player but if you keep drinking with the assistant manager and having meals with the manager then you should keep your place the bloke is a disgrace to the profession and should not be plying his trade here. why did we release him in the first place? not good enough then, not good enough now.

would you agree that Street was our worst player today?
I think he was utterly dire, yet no-one mentions it
I was one of the ones who first started saying gregor was not good enough, he is a liability, he can't pass and he is the weak link in our team without a doubt and i do not know for the lif eof me how he gets a regular place
but some of the stuff on here is just plain personal and that's not fair, and he gets slated even when he does ok

Street was without doubt the poorest player on view. What did Gregor do that others were niot also guilty of. To blame him for their goal is truly out of order. Who gave the ball away in the first place. Who else was supposed to be marking the two players who appeared on the right?

It would appear from most fans views that they would prefer Gregor Fisher (Rab C Nesbitt) to be left back than Mr Rioch. ;D

Rioch was terrible. I'll never shout at a Town player no matter how bad they are, but he truly was bad. Not the first time this season either! OK so Street was poor but the team seemed to be out of shape too - space not exploited. Potter was a good replacement as he dribbled and went past players and could pass. bring him back please

I think getting a new left back will depend on Luke going and how much we get for him because the board have to make sure they are not overspending and i think we all know deep down that Luke will be gone before the end of the season.I think there are better left backs than Potter around and we should get someone in who can defend because super Sam can do all the attacking down that side the way he is playing.

Who gave the ball away in the first place. Who else was supposed to be marking the two players who appeared on the right? Thats a matter of opinion and may have been true today, but Rioch is CONSISTENTLY crap and still gets picked. Street on the other hand may have a bad day ( as have O'Conner and Cramb) but at least the odd bad game is forgivable. Someone I spoke to today in the Crown after the game made a suggestion one of the managment team should be in the stand (not at pitch level) for at least part of the game. If this was adopted then at least they would see how truely awful our so called left back is. While he remains in the team we will remain in the Conference, every team we play must look to see who is playing left back and their right wingers rub their hands with glee when they see the teamsheet. Tinson reguarly gets pulled out of position covering for Riochs 'absence' . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Jimmy get a new left back or at least give it to Sedgemore while u find one.

goin back 2 what phil21 said about fans favourites not gettin stick.hes spot on coz ive noticed this many a time n its not right.like sometimes luke does not pass in the box and fans turn around sayin "aw hes desperate for a goal isnt he?"and if it were colin cramb not passin in the box he gets slated for it!i dont understand this.i dont think fans should get on players backs during the game, coz it is not gonna make them player any beter,if anything it will decrease their level of confidence and thats it,the play worse!so next time any player is below the standards town have set 4 themselves juat get behind them then moan on here! ;D

Came to the game with my father in law yesterday and after 10 minutes he said 'don't like the look of the left back'.
If it is that obvious to a visitor how is it missed by the management team?
Bring back Gareth Hanmer............ ;D
