Excellent news, saw it on Grandstand today which was biased towards Hague but suppose you've got to expect it seeing as he is the champion and contracted to BBC. Also good to see and hear plenty of Salopians there

Yeah top result for Roddy, i would have thought a rematch with Hague would be on the cards for his belt first.
Would be cracking to have a boxing match down the meadow.

Superb result for Roddy - WELL DONE!
I thought it was a quite tight decision, but Roddy has come on leaps and bounds since I saw him fight a couple of times at the Albrighton Hall last year. Much more composure and was really boxing and not fighting.

Well done to Roddy, I would love to go watch him down at the Meadow. Does anyone know whether this is likely to happen any time in the future?

Well done Roddy! Would love to see world professional boxing at the Meadow, which would also strengthen the case for a NEW, MODERN ALL PURPOSE SPORTING ARENA in Shrewsbury, as our humble old ground couldnt host world professional boxing forever of course....

Yep. Big Town fan. Gets to quite a few games at home. Sits in the centre stand and enters the boxing ring wearing a Town shirt.  |

On Radio Shropshire during the Exeter game, Roddy did say about a fight at the Meadow in June or July.
