No.
Only mitigation in defence of his blubbing is that he is still only a teenager. Then again so is Rooney but he ain't natural.

Only if you didn't laugh when the Tranmere captain (no teenager there) cried his eyes out when he was substituted.

or the polish striker for Derby, who started crying when he missed the penalty in the 81st minutes and was still crying at the end of the match

Just one who sees someone with far more talent than yourself, with the whole world at his feet, and can only 'get back at him' by laughing when he gets upset (commendable as well) by what will be just a minor professional set-back. Bad person? Probably not. A little bit childish? Maybe.

Have to say i suffer when this talented young man is playing, my other half constantly take the pee out of him for whatever he does, says he's not fit to wear the number 7 shirt(yeah Beckham fancier)......... i think he makes even the seasoned pro's in the game work hard to defend against him...........let him cry he will do much better, for sure in the future

In a word Whits No Ronaldo - what a baby!!!!! mabey if he gave it easy instead of galivanting tricks and all to get to the by line and then cross to the most misfiring striker in europe (who used to be good) Van the "man", then he might have been picking up trophys GIggs should have started - i more simple more rounded player I think!! Still funny though And well done scholes - retire and and abandon your country to concentrate on your club carrer - that worked out well didnt it

You'd have started Giggs then Glyn???
I personnally thought Ronaldo was with Rooney one of the best players on the pitch.
Won a number of free kicks, skinned his man everytime, led the arsenal team on a merry dance at times and put in some fantastic balls.
Awsome display

Sadly, although I was playing cricket rain stopped play so I was forced to watch the penalty shoot-out. The FA Cup has got beyond a joke. Time to put this competition down and stop sullying the memories we all have.

I'd cry if I was on the losing side in the FA Cup final, nothing wrong with it, they must be have been gutted!
Nothing wrong with pro footballers showing some emotion when, in this day, a lot accuse them of only being interested in the money.

Nope not at all.
Ronaldo was superb though.
How on earth Wenger had the balls to accuse Blackburn of trying to kick his players off the park considering their performance yesterday was dreadful.
Link51 - why do you come here?

Very true, some of the games I've seen over the past week or so have restored some faith in the game that its not "..all.." about money, Jason Macateer being the main one, to have to be restrained by the manager to dtop him going back on for his health clearly shows that some actually do really care, but I'm just a soft woman who see's tears from men as a real sign of strength and true character.

I managed to listen to the first half of the game yesterday on the radio, but what I heard didn't pursuade me to tune in for the second half. I do not think the competition has the stature it once did.
However, and this is partly a comment about Ronaldo, I would love to see talent and football skill less often allied than it seems to be with petulance, and much less often wear a snarl on its face.
If these pampered, groomed, pedicured and manicured boys had half the mental toughness of a Stanley Matthews we'd remember them long after they landed a plumb media job.

Not a bad person laughing at him, as a united fan i would have done the same had ashely cole been balling his eyes out! If i was playing in an F.A cup and lost tears would most probably follow, these people are winners dislike them cause they are paid large amounts or not and it hurts! As for the scholes comment that is ludicrous he has severe asthma, represented and did his country proud for many years, yet why should he then settle to be a squad player, or if hes going to be started out of position, i would like him the be a squad member but how much must it hurt to just be that after being a regular for so many years. I find it disgraceful the way your having ago at him

I, too am of the opinion that it showed that he cares- and that it's more than just money and media attention. To let his emotion show like that shows that he's "real" and sincere. He'd put everything into that game- and it didn't happen for them. I don't think it was "petulance" either, it was genuine misery. Petulance is when they get nasty. Am I alone in thinking, from what I saw, that The Arse were a lot of diving dirty players a lot of the time?!! I don't really support either team, we'd just gone to watch it at my daughter's because her boyfriend is a Man-U supporter. But they WERE the better team. You could argue that they had chances and it didn't come to anything- but they were the better team on the day. Not a bad person, Ian- but I couldn't laugh at the lad. _I could have cried in sympathy- another soft woman, do I hear you say?!!!!

Do you not think Scholes retired when he did because he wanted to go out on a high, and the fact that he was in the process of being replaced by Lampard.
He had been moved to the left side to make way for Lampard, was pushing 30+ etc. thus made the right decision to retire.
Its not as if we have a shortage of midfielders

All these people slagging him off I bet would love to see him play for Salop. Then we'd see if you would laugh when he cried when Salop lost.

Did any of our supporters "shed a tear" when we were relegated to the conference ?

nope, it suddenly dawned on me either after the swansea or boston game that we were most likely down.
Hope turned in anguish, turned into an expectant sigh, turned into optomism for the next season.
Did cry when Preston NE relegated us from div2. But I was probably about 11/12
