Mine has to be here, on the Hausberg in Garmisch [ftp]http://stubingham.fotopic.net/p9349684.html[/ftp] Sadly, although gravity means I should go downhill faster than Haz, technique from the "Banzai" advanced course means he always beats me

Mine was in the outback of Australia.
Was living on a farm while working as a fruit picker. was lying in my tent one sunday morning in my town shirt and the sports section was thrown into the tent as it always was by one of the lads so I can check the footy scores.
Sat there reading Rochdale 1 Shrewsbury 7 over and over again until it finally sunk in and I realised it wasn't a miss print. I jumped out of my tent screamed YEEEESSSSS!!!! and as I did so I caught the tent with my sleeve and put a 1cm tear in it.
And every time I wear that shirt it reminds me of that moment ;D

Me and Amy were there that day! Seem to remember it was my finest hour as a tipster too - predicted 6-1 with Rodgers to score his 1st hat trick! Wish I could do the same with lottery numbers!
Poor ole Bizzy got thrown out at half time and missed all the fun.

Niagara Falls Top of the Empire State building Grand Canyon Hollywood Boulevard (near the star of Arni) Tijuana (sp) Mexico – where it went down very well – and then I get sold this cheap Mexico Shirt, which I then gave away to a Canadian in vancover a week later (it’s a long story that one : And lastly At the top of the steps in Philly which was in the rocky film!!!! Unfortunately I have nether scanner or Digital camera – one day I will get them on line!!! The yanks loved the two town shirts and England Shirt I had with me on my trip – always got questions about it – now I return the favour by wearing Atlanta Falcons Shirt to Thursday night B and A footy!!

Me and my Dad wore our shirts to visit the Statue of Liberty Thi sguy came up to us and said "excuse me, are you from Shrewsbury" I said "yeah" he said "that's amazing, we're from Pontesbury" The other good one was Sweden vs Denmark at Euro 2004 when this Sweden fan came up to me and said "Hey Shrewsbury Town, I just won the preiership with them on Championship manager. why is your ground called Gay Meadow?" I also have one of a rather young looking Dave on top of Ayers Rock in a mid 90s shirt

Downtown San Diego. Seaport Village eating a taco and a guy said 'Hey nice shirt.' [It was the all-yellow Toffs shirt] I had my mouth full and just went mmmfanks and then he wondered off and so I didn't get to ask him if he'd heard of Town.
Also worn it to preach on Sundays before now.

Here here, it's always good playing the "guess my shirt" game with the locals. Had a Plymouth fan come up to me in Tamworth the other week, tsk he should have known better!

Took two town shirts when i went to work in zante, greece earlyer this year. wore one in differant places all over the island, One of my best mates out there was a guy called ardi from albania and i gave him one shirt as a birthday pressi because he liked it so much, after that he wore it all the time, so no doubt it will be seen around albania!!!!

Has to be my wedding day in Australia in Kirrawee, Sydney. Wore my Town shirt underneath my grooms outfit. Mrs BVS didn't believe Stu Dunn (who was at the wedding) when he told her, until that is I showed her the evidence. I had to make sure she realised shw was marrying me AND Shrewsbury Town!! ;D

The Nou Camp And during the trip, it got recognised by a load of sc***horpe fans. Similar sTory here. Wore my "Argentina" away shirt with Berkley on the back round the Nou Camp and as we were at the bit of the tour round pitch side a group of lads who were up in the stand started chanting "There's only one Austin Berkley!" Sufficed to say I thought the sun was getting to me but it turned out they were a buch of Shrewsbury lads out there on a stag do! Great stuff! ;D Also will attempt to copy the picture from the first post during my 5 months in france. Great idea!!

wore my town shirt at euro2004 final and copa america, world cup finals, champions league finals... etc but thats my job so doesnt count... wore Ian Woans shirt on the 2002 simple minds tour - only washed it 2 times during the whole tour. Had to be given my own black top to cover it up when i went on stage though on a tangent- my mate louise went on holiday when we played man u. sat in a bar and watched the game on mutv in portugal. In came a girl also wearing a town top - the two of them looked at each other bemused - this other girl came from sutton farm and now the two of them are best friends.

On the Kuwait / Iraq border!! Stood next to the border post. I wanted my mate to take a photo of the event but as this was about 2 days before kick off, as soon a he pulled out a camera we were surrounded by dozens of Kuwaiti solders. They then proceeded to rip the film out of the camera.(No souvenir photos of my trip!)
