so if anyone fancies slagging off the Labour Party, then lets go for it ;D I could do that all day long . Labour suggesting that the Torys would spend £35M less made me laugh!!! In fact the entire budget was a laugh. Mr Chancellor is just DESPERATE for labour to still be in power for when he takes charge. I think my whole hatred towards the labour party simply stems from me not seeing tthe war in Iraq as just!

Only get the chance to post at home. Always thought work was for working, never mind Seriously, anyone who works for particularly a large employer should be careful if posting on the likes of B&A during office hours/on a work PC - if I did and got caught, this falls under "Serious Misconduct" list within my contract

Why should that worry you - you're inside. Just answer the damn question........ In fairness, on the "budget " thread last week i did point out that whilst i thought the budget overall was good, i was dissappointed with the £200 for pensioners cos it sounded like a bribe After all, they will only waste it on drink and drugs But then, what does knocking £500 a year of old peoples council tax bill sound like? What does knocking a penny of the basic rate of tax sound like. What does offering to pay half towards private health care sound like?

When I'm tempted to be envious of all you people who post from work I remember that you must have really boring jobs BTW, I've just seen a survey that says that Purchasing Managers do more unpaid overtime than any other profession. Guess what I do for a living

yes ant, but at least you are now contributing to the community, and not on a 5 week break expecting the taxpayer to subsidise you.......

Guess what I do for a living Agree with Dave's 1st point. My job is busy throughout the year, with lots of short term timescales and unexpected/last minute problems, I read work most mornings & evenings on the train home, and lunch consists of 10 minutes to nip out for a sandwich. That said, it is interesting stuff, challenging, and I work in a great office. Whilst I'm sure having a job where you can get away with playing on the internet for most of the day, listen to a bit of music perhaps and generally doss about might seem fun in the initial stages, after a while it will become tedious, you don't learn anything, you become stale and in the end will start resenting having to go to work. Enjoying your job is vital. You spend more hours a year with your work colleagues than you are likely to spend with your friends.
