Woke up this morning, saw the sun shining through my curtains (they are only thinish material) onto my bedroom wall, felt so good cos it's half term and I went and had a game of football on the park with some mates. Got home, had a couple of cheese toasties, a relaxing night on the pc and infront of the telly, hopefully there will be a good film on itv 2. oh dont forget us winning at grimsby and town v kiddy on sat.

I've had a distinctly better day than the cat - its had its knackers cut off today. It came back from the vets' with a John Wayne walk.
Day off work today. Any time away from work is profitably spent.

Roller Coaster of a day - Woke up feelin full of the joys - Valentines and that - getting married on Saturday - no game for me or mates so crowd will be at least 7 down . Got Band of Brothers DVD for Valentines and the wife liked her undergarments. Then had to go to Telford shopping centre this avo. Boooo. If theres one thing to turn me into a homicidal maniac its having to go shopping at Telford. Not forgetting half term, the scum were out in force. The whole place needs wiping off the face of the planet. Back home now for Valentines meal - Pasta, Champers, and Toffee/Pecan pavlova

Server at work down for 4 hours, so could do nothing. This means I'll have to go in Sunday morning to catch up.
Rang my Mum who was very teary because today is the 60th anniverary of when she first met my (late) Dad, upset me 'cos I still miss him.
Then got home to find grandchildren here to show off what they had learned at gym class. There's nothing like the energy and optimism of the young to cheer you up when your're feeling low ;D

A bit mixed on the whole! First day back at work after a week in the Canaries. 7 points out of 9 I should go away more often! But wife has said that after 20(ish) years in exile that she would like to move to Shrewsbury hurrahhh! So the prospect of regular Blue and Amber rather than a handful of home games and away visits to the likes of Sc***horpe and Darlo to look forward to in the future -double hurrahh!
