Thanks all - it clearly worked.
Been offered the job - will be spending the weekend having a think about it.
PS Psycometric testing is basically a way of asking you 60 different questions and trying to find out if you're a 'bit crazy, or Welsh'. I must have slipped the net.

Excellent news If you decide to take it, and should you then need any advice on refreshing places to lunch within a five minute walk of your new office, I visit most of them at least fortnightly - as a quality control service exclusively availabele to B&A board members
