I'm watching What was all the fuss about, bad language yeah - but much worse on telly elsewhere, and entertaining as a send up. Can only assume the clergy have never seen the real Jerry Springer Show

All opera is s**te, Its basically a hearing test.
But if you strain and try and make out the words in this, its a humorous enough send up

'As Jerry descends into Hell, some viewers may find scenes depicting God, Jesus and Mary offensive and disturbing' Surely the best disclaimer ever

I wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't for all the fuss before hand, and to be honest, I'm glad I did.
Some very good and thought provoking bits. The pole dancer song was very sad and the send up as a whole side splittingly funny. So true at the end that the concept of good and evil, right and wrong, is in fact a fluid boundary that ebbs and flows one way then another, and is in reality blurred.
Personally I liked the way they used the characters that were in the shows as the major icons in the second half. You never know who you may be talking to or treating in such a way....
I shall never watch Holby City in quite the same way!

It was co-written by Stewart Lee who, along with Richard Herring, did 'Fist of Fun' and 'TMWRNJ-This morning with Richard not Judy' - both used to be screened on Sunday mornings in the mid to late 90's and always contained sketches that poked fun at religion. Stewart Lee knew that people would be offended by a show with so many swearwords and a theme that may be considered blaspemous by some, but said, "It can be broadcast unexpurgated apparently because it counts as ‘culture’ not ‘comedy’" I found it funny though
