Some, including GP and the players are disappointed that we didn't come away with all three points today. I think that is unrealistic and disrespectful to R+D who, from the commentary, seemed to have the better of the game. I look at it as a point won. Another point towards survival. Another clean sheet. The defence have obviously stood up well. We need to get the fortress mentality. Don't lose and the wins will come. Some will be very fortunate. Who cares as long as we get the points needed to stay in the league.

I heard the post match interviews- I dont think anyone was disrespectful- nobody implied they deserved to win- they just said they were disappointed not to win which is not quite the same thing. GP looked on it as a positive as a few weeks ago the players would have been content with an away draw

With our record Vs Rushden I was well satisfied with a point - like a moral victory.
Do I beleive in bogey teams - yes, absolutely!

I'd be more dissapointed with the performance of our team.
First half we created very little (Edwards chance aside), lacked shape, lacked cohesion, couldn't make the ball stick upfront while the midfield struggled to get into the game.
Second half Lowe shook things up whilst at the same time looking somewhat rusty, while Tolley and Sedge still strugled to get into the game. Backed off Rusden far to much, inviting continued shooting opportunities from around the edge of the box...
All in all I think a point was a good point, considering our performance. I'd have been far more dissapointed had I been a R+D fan.
Having said all that Kiddie won, and we are going to have to wrack up another win on saturday, otherwise the pressure could be right back on us.
Sammy Aiston-looked our best player going forward- 3/4 decent crosses, continued beating of his man, whilst showing greater awareness to come inside and help out our beleaguered midfield.
P.S-Daddy Karl (O'Connor) back for Boston I'd have thought.
