I think we should bring a muckspreader along and give him the "Kilroy treatment".

AFC Telford chairman Lee Carter said: "It should be a good weekend. It will be nice to see some of the former players down here again and there's lots of fans who still remember that game.
"I was only seven-years-old at the time so I wasn't at the game but I was aware of Telford and I knew some of the players.
I was going to football matches at 7 years old. Admittedly not in Telford... I'd have thought a big match like that would have been a big deal for a 7 year old. Unless his family are all Wolves fans of course!!

I was in the Everton end as well. Seems the home attendance was swelled quite a bit by Shrews supporters - and WE won

Should be a good event, although the more critical of us may laugh at the fact Telford are choosing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a good hiding by inviting two failed managers to be their guests on a weekend where they play at home to a village side. All the best

Nah, it's a celebration of the town apparantly. Lee Carter said that he was 'aware' of Telford when he was 7, so good on him.....

My sentiments too, but appearently its to do with spirit Perhaps someone can answer me this question that is bugging me. When May 2008 comes which team will celebrate the 20th anniversary of winning the Cup? MK Dons or AFC Wimbledon?

But with any luck MK Dons will be out of the league anyway, or if fans get an early XMAS they may even be out of business.
