Has anybody else been impressed with the form of Darren Currie since his move from Brighton to Ipswich - he has already established himself as a cult figure at Portman Road. It's good to see an ex Town player doing well even though according to some he had a bit of a problem at The Meadow with a certain white powder. Jake King told me his nickname was Charlie and that was a reason for letting him go. The kids come good now though.

The kid isn't a kid anymore. 30 years of age I believe.
A great little story.

to be fair he did the business at Barnet, did pretty well at Wycombe and had already established himself as a key member of Brightons first 11. Hope he makes his way to the premiers**te. England cap at 31???

I remember him being pretty dire with us for large spells, with his lack of natural pace combined with poor fitness making him struggle. Brilliant to see how he's turned it round though

Brilliant to see how he's turned it round though Also my main memory Gareth although I also remember the brilliant goal he scored, mentioned above. A quite brilliant player on his day but his days were few and far between- I think the word enigma was invented for him! Great to hear he is doing well at the moment. Are there now, any ex STFC players now playing at a higher level than him?

David Moyes I know our squad is a bit thin up at Goodison TBH, but Moyesy rarely gets a game

Are there now, any ex STFC players now playing at a higher level than him? I think the last ex-Town player to feature in the top flight was Mark Williams for Watford. I don't think there are any playing regularly in the Championship even.
