i can't read the text, its obscured by roy carroll As expected the refs stick together Norman Pryce said Rob couldn't have done anything else, which must hurt a bit because Norman's a Spurs fan

If Rob Lewis wasn't in a position to award a goal in such a blatant situation when he's the linesman at that end - what is he doing?

i can't read the text, its obscured by roy carroll It reads...... "Shrewsbury-based Rob Lewis was running the line at last night's Barclay's Premiership game between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur when he missed a last-minute goal which would have clinched victory for Spurs. "

If Rob Lewis wasn't in a position to award a goal in such a blatant situation when he's the linesman at that end - what is he doing? Because he was watching for offside and funnily enough it is impossible to run 40 yards in 1.5 seconds...

The ref should of seen that the keeper was on his line and dropped the ball backwards thus going in...shocking i blame the area the linesman comes from personally Saying that, our local premiership ref has been told off for celebrating goals and spending half time in the man ure changing rooms (at spurs earlier on this season)
