come off leave off Luke!
Yes he was sent off but was it all his fault?
Shrewsbury would of lost anyway because Yeovil where a really good team today and Shrewsbury did really well to get 2 goals

Sorry I have to totally disagree. I've just got in having left home this morning at 8.50. I have not read any other threads yet but presume that just like me people are a bit fed up with Master Rodgers. I must thank him I suppose for putting in a 'guest' appearance of ooh at least 20 minutes when he completely turned the game around for us.
And then, he just has to do it again and let his team mates, his manager, and more importantly us down yet again. For gods sake boy grow up and control yourself. It's not the first time his temper has let us down and by the looks of it it won't be the last unless GP can take him in hand before it's too late and he never reaches his potential.
I disagree if he had stayed on I think we might have got the draw. I do agree that it would be unlikely we would have won. Yeovil are an excellent team and deserve to be champions in May.
BUT for his own sake Luke must learn to control himself and must realise that opposition players will try and wind him up.
Sorry, rant over now.

No it is NOT a slate Luke bandwagon but as a paying spectator I am entitled to a view point. My main point is that Luke is his own worst enemy and he really must sort himself out for his own sake. Opposition players are always going to wind him up, go for him, or anything else if they know the reaction they will get.
He's a Shrewsbury Player and for that reason alone I will always support him but GP must start working on him to make him the player he could become that's all.

call me si lol
Its not a bandwagon at all ..... im 18 now, and have been going for over 10 years, and as im getting older im getting to form my own opinions on circumstances, more so than i did say when i was 14 ..... at that age, you dont care about sendings off "because hes scoring" .... but the fact is he isnt scoring ..... hes sitting out quite a large quantity of the season, due to the same old story .... red cards .... which are all down to the same thing .... stupid lunges / tackles, or more commonly retalliation !!!!! ...... its bearly excuseable to say a player of dave or kelvins age, let alone to an established player like Luke
he is a vital part to the team ..... but if he cannot control what can be described as nothing other than un-professional behaviour" ... then im afraid to say i think that STFC, are better off without Luke Rodgers

Think about this:
When was the last time Luke was sent off?
Dave Walton, O'Connor and Moss have all been sent off recently, all three have been told off by Peters in the press. Peters was right infront of the "incident" yet he is adament Luke has done no wrong.
Now if Peters is the honest, hard working man people keep saying he is then surely if he thinks luke is to blame he'd say so.
You're all happy to entrust him with keeping Salop up etc..., so why dont you take what he says at face value and cut Rodgers some slack....

I wonder how many of those complaining about Lukes FIRST red card this season were the same people who wanted Luke to be LOYAL to stfc when we got relegated, how about showing the player some loyalty in return, I can't believe the crap that texted to radio Shrop and on this board, he is still joint top scorer, with Tolley, who loads on here wanted shot of a few weeks ago, never mind John Grant,Jake Sedgemore, woman are meant to be b***hy, but some! of you men on here win hands down !!!!!!!!!!

Luke proved himself to be an extremely influential player yesterday his appearance certainly appeared to lift the team and rattle Yeovil. He was proving to be very dangerous he had his old spark back it was great to watch but.... his threat had already caused one nasty challenge which resulted in their sending off he's an experienced enough player to realise that similar challenges were likely to continue. It did look to be a bad tackle on him again but he still needs to refrain from retaliation
His sending off gave Yeovil a psychological advantage their fans a boost and we lost our pace up front = 3 goals in 15 minutes
His reaction meant that we lost, not discounting Yeovil who played very well but with a player advantage and at 2-1 that game was ours for the taking ok so maybe we still wouldnt have won but off the back of the last two games confidence would of been high and we'd of made it a damn sight more difficult for them to come back at us
But is it really so bad? Well not for John Grant who has been having a fantastic couple of games and will more than greatfully welcome the chance to add to his goal tally its time for him to prove himself. I would really like to see how hungry Luke could be again if he has to fight to prove his place in the starting 11

I first blamed Luke and I was quite mad. I seemed to have seen him wrestle a guy to the floor. But my eyes deceived me and I apologise for my comments. Maybe it was the cheese.....
