Great game, you can see why Yeovil are top, when they went behind there work rate went up,we were unlucky not to come away withg somthing, was a good performance, cannot understand how there golie stayed on, definate penalty and was last player therfore a red was justified. both red cards look justified, but we were further away from Luke than GP was, there was no question over there red.....

The game changed twice.. for the better whem Luke came on, and for the worse when he was sent off.

Hi guys,
A quick point about the bringing down of your CF, according to the laws of the game there are 2 points to take into consideration,
the first being that the player was not running towards goal , he was running diagonally and not straight towards it therefore its not a "clear" goalscoring oppotunity like handball on the line is etc,
secondly the player had lost control of the ball as he had pushed it past our keeper and therefore wasnt in possession , these two combined have seen our keeper stay on the pitch.
:-) you guys didnt do badly today but your sending off cost you, and it was a sending off in my opinon as was ours.

That was the refs view point, which makes sence, overall Rich, it was a bloody great game to watch, the red cost us dear, but we got out of the game what most thought we would end up with. Both reds in my opinion were fully justified, and if Both teams had gone down to 9 men, with Sedge only getting a talking to and Yeovil keeper going aswell i do not think many could have complained.

Their keeper shouldn't have had a red - it wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity. On the contrary I didn't think it was a good performance at all. Too many players had poor games - Challis, Tolley, Aiston defending!, Grant etc. etc.

I am just happy that I was their to witness that game, it was a great game to watch, I even turned to a friend when we went down to 10 men saying it will be hard to get back into this now but as you say the second red cost you.
The incidents certainly sparked the atmosphere, most singing from an away crowd I can remember for a while
Overall a cracking game to watch and all the best to you guys in the future :-)

Aye, a good match today even with the Town coming away with nowt...
A tad miffed that we allowed Yeovil so much time on the right to cross the ball, no pressure at all which resulted in two goals...we were defedning way too deep once Luke were sent off...
Very good side Yeovil and we had em in trouble today, no doubt about that. As they said, 2-1...and we fooked it up!! ;D

A very entertaining game of football.
The keeper certainly shouldn't have walked, a yellow card at the very most. I would like to see the Rodgers incident again before commenting on it.
