I disagree with that Taffy our kid...
Luke pushed the lad away, didnt punch him or owt...got up and threw him off as the Yeovil lad were shoving him when he was on the ground and then when he stood up. Luke never raised his hands towards the lads face...
If he got sent off for the fowl then hairy muff but I think it should have been a yellow. If it were for the stamp, I'm not so sure he meant that...
I think Luke was harsh done by today...

But he did react violently and of all people he should know you can't do that in front of the ref. From where the ref was standing it could have looked like he rasied his hands to swing a punch, whether or not he was tryin to punch the Yeovil player or push him away im not sure. Not slating him, personally he think the more aggresive he is the better (look at 'young' Luke more bookings but a much better strike ratio). T hink Luke would be better used for the time being as a super sub who could come on around the 60 min mark to run at and harass tired defenders, think he would be more effective doing this and would probably increase his confience, which must be on the floor at the mo-hence why getting on his back is only gonna make a bad situation worse. But, like I said fair point and I was to the left of the goal so did'nt have the best view.

Stutty owd lad i've seen some s**te posted about the Rodgers incedent, seems we (you and i) saw it nearly the same........what i saw was a nothing tackleboth lads went over, Rodgers got up 1st turned and walked backwards falling over the yeovil lad he (yeo) kept Luke down with a hefty owd slap then a tustle took place in which luke push the lad away No raised hand....................OK max a yellow but when he saw red then so should have the yeo player.....IMO the ref got that very wrong..............for the tussle between the 2 tops a yellow and a warning for both

Rodgers was stupid to react the way he did, yes I feel he cost us a point / 3 points today. I dislike the way other people have recently started saying 'who needs luke rodgers'. Well, I'm sorry to p**s on your bonfire but we did the season before last and last seaspn, yes his form has dipped big time, but just because he is low on confidence and isn't scoring at this moment in time, under Gary Peters he could improve. I know it's not everyone that is having a go at Luke, but don't slag him off after all the blood and guts and effort he has given for us during his stay here. Having a go at him won't make him improve, just encourage him.
