I thought the 5-3 win against Crawley would be the catalyst to start our season. Proved wrong of course. The way things are currently...even if we win 5-3 again on Saturday...It will be harder to be so optimistic going into the next game.
Glad to be free of the league however. This is like a clean slate match.

Zero interest in this game.
And that’s down to the awful football we’ve had to watch for years now.

But COYB please pretty please I guess the added benefit of a win is the potential for a decent second round draw, and if successful in that a lucrative 3rd round draw might be open to us. I think £45,000 is awarded for a 1st round win and £70,000 for the second round so that would all help the funds and mid season recruitment

Town to win 1-2. Maybe after extra time? In Hurst we trust.

Maybe this is an opportunity to see how bad we really are! A lot of people on this forum have said that we are league two ready club, so this is a perfect chance to test that theory! If we lose badly, then we ain’t league two ready but worse, and if we win then we are league two club in waiting!

Cant happen (draw) but be interested to see if history repeats itself with the rumours on the other thread. Personally going there expecting an easy win on penalties 🥴

Fleetwood v Salford last night finished 2-2. Here are the highlights...can't see us ever having the confidence to score a goal like their first.

Personally going there expecting an easy win on penalties 🥴 Askey was sacked after the 1-1 draw at home (when I thought Salford were the better side) then, with the coaches in charge, we immediately improved and beat them comfortably 3-1 away. That side contained players like Laurent, Docherty and Okenabirie who were way better than any of the players we have now so it will not be easy but I have a feeling we might just scrape through.

It's worth pointing out Salford were in their promotion season to the league that season , and as comfortable as the 3-1 away game might have been it was still only 2-1 until the 93rd minute , as always I think we should ignore league positions , anything can happen in the cup , I just hope we put in a good performance and take any chances we create

With it being FA Cup can the game be streamed online on ifollow or sky? Unlike almost every game we’ve played this season so far, this game can’t be streamed anywhere. It’s not been chosen as a game for highlights by BBC or ITV (no surprise there!) It will be a one cam/maybe two, setup. Doubt even goals as they go in will be streamed.

First 10 pens missed. That's still an optimistic success rate.

Idiotic that this game isn't streamable, revenue lost for the club's involved.
