Up to the 1st Qualifying Round now.
Shifnal travelled to Wellingborough and went through to Rd2 with an excellent 2-0 win.
Whitchurch are still also in the 2nd Rd draw too after a home 1-1 draw with Wythenshaw. Replay away on Tuesday night.
And the highest ranked Shropshire club Telford entered the competition at this stage, and quickly bombed out 2-1 at Gainsborough Trinity. Ah well 😂😂PMSL

Macclesfield and Bury still involved, a lot of ex FL clubs also join the draw at this stage including the likes of Chester, Hereford, Torquay, Darlington...

Saw Shaun Rowley play for Cray Wanderers in their FA Cup replay against Larkfield & New Hythe last night.
Use the term play loosely as Cray won 8-0 and he had very little to do

Shifnal Town still involved in the FA Cup.
Drew 1-1 at home to Redditch yesterday and replay at their place Tuesday night.
Shropshire only representatives now until Rd1 when we come in.

If Shifnal win the replay tomorrow they have drawn either Rugby or Hednesford at home in the next round.

There are some random games on bbc player , I watched campion v blyth Spartans the other day , not a great game but ok for those who wants to see 9th tier v 7th tier type games

Presumably Shifnal will now get all of their games broadcast live on DAB radio as they are clearly a superior side to Telford.

I watched Sheffield FC beat Pontefract Colleries in the first round 5-0. However, I missed first 2 goals as I went to the pub early at half-time coz game was dull, at that point! Then lost to Rushall in next round.
Sunday I`m watching women`s FA cup. Big money relatively. I was Director at a local club for a couple of years and the women`s team won £7k after getting through a couple of early rounds. Local derby on Sunday - Dronfield vs Brunsmeer.

Shifnal still in the FA Cup. Drew 0-0 at home to Hednesford today so face a replay at their ground presumably during the week.
Putting up a decent fight of it this season.

Watched Worthing beat Dartford 3-1 this afternoon in an entertaining game. I was at Cray Wanderers v Hastings United (3-0) on Saturday - good game and the sun shone for a change this week. They have been drawn at home to Tonbridge Angels in the 4QR. Cray Wanderes are no longer wandering having moved into their first permanent home, Flamingo Park, after 164 years. |

Sadly we wont be playing Shifnal Town in the 1st Rd of the FA Cup as they went out in the replay at Hednesford tonight losing 1-0.
Great cup run from them though,they should be proud.
