Forgot about new boy Josh Kayode earlier! The Rotherham loan recruit has been kept out of this one as not quite deemed ready. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets that first run out at Oldham in the final friendly of the summer on Saturday.

Took both fullbacks off and we were getting exposed down the wings far too often.
Missed enough chances to win 3 .games.

we had 4 times as many promising runs as they had but kept snatching or taking to long to shoot instead of finding a better option, telford took their time and fully deserved the draw in the end as despite the fewer chances they came mighty close 4 or 5 times including clearances off the line by us, well timed wake up call is the only positive but this is usually a scrappy game that results in us hanging on at the end

trialist from saturday looked decent again, no one else really stood out, maybe pierre looked ok in the first half, hard to tell what was going on at the other end second half but wasnt good

their forward line looked slow so a no there,   most of their attacks came last 30 mins from wide with players cutting in,   couldn't tell but several 'O'niell' type twists and turns were involved,  who by I simply couldn't tell

Dont forget for his first couple of seasons Udoh looked very much off the pace. For a long time he never looked like he would be good enough to score 15 goals in a season.

Dominated for sixty mins but our finishing was poor. Marquis and O’Reilly both smashing good openings miles over the bar.

Then we started making changes and seemed to lose our structure a bit. Turned into a bit of an end to end game with Telford creating the better chances in the last half an hour. They got in behind Feeney and Godwin out wide quite a few times.

Didn’t notice any good performances really. Rossiter is a yes, and Nolan is a no from me.

Not reading too much into it, we looked pretty good with our strongest eleven out in the first half.

Feeney at full back should be a true "break glass in case of emergency" option this season. Need to sign a second right back

We rarely look good in our friendlies against Telford. First half tonight was an exception and we looked miles clear of them in style, ability etc.

Second half - normal service resumed. Telford did well, kept pushing, could’ve scored earlier. Fair play to them. You’d have never said they had the energy for that after giving them the run around for 45 minutes.
