Had to smile when I checked Facebook this morning. Our “friends” from over the border are having a go at Leyton Orient about the price of tickets for their upcoming game. A mere 37 quid to watch a third tier game, a tad more than they are used to when playing the likes of Wealdstone. We will also have to fork out similar but we are more used to prices in London and most places around the Home Counties.

Well they can’t have it both ways. They are either a super team who people will flock to see whatever the price or they are a nondescript little bunch of nonentities who no one actually gives a toss about.
They’ve paid the money to get promotion so now they must pay the price.

Just checked were a cat B game £25 in advance Wrexham are AA. Wrexham fans can save £5 by buying before the game £32 so not quite so rich. They also have a membership scheme similar to ours so home fans can get a £37 ticket for £29. www.leytonorient.com/news/2024/july/15/match-ticket-prices-confirmed-for-2024-25-season/

37 quid and then I bet Orient will keep them penned in at the end of the game.

The article I read said some other clubs will be doing the same, it looks as if it's going to be very expensive for Wrexham fans travelling to away games.

I can think of one of their lot who will certainly say No to it. It will no doubt be one of the times he is at Nissi beach in Rhyl.

Oh dear perhaps wob and wyan will subsidise them. I wouldn’t baaaank on it! They're going to be like lambs to the slaughter in this division Some of their players will get found out this season as they genuinely are mutton dressed as lamb
