So how does it work? You ring them up and they make sure that the next bus in the area calls at the stop number you have quoted?...sort of on demand bus with guaranteed passengers which keeps Arriva happy?

Depending how late it runs on a Saturday Stop 21 could be another way to get back into town from the Ground? Doubt it will run late enough for night games? Not really dug to deep to see if it does run on Saturdays?

My sister in law uses it from anscroft, it is very reliable, I don't know if they have changed it but when it started they expected you to be at the bus stop on the journey in half an hour early, not many people use it, which is a pity I don't know how far in advance you have to book it.

Had a read through after clicking the link and you can book on the day but the bus may turn up within 5 mins. Just an observation, but there appears to be a lot of t&C's and you need to create an online account to pay in advance. Rather a lot to deal with just to catch a bus!

I was brought up on Sutton Way and Where Sutton Farm now is was our playground. Where do kids from Springfield go for adventure now?

Yes we're do they go, I'm sure many people could say the same thing, it is staggering how much green land we have lost in the last ten years. I understand we have to build houses but we don't they build more flats.

Without going into the complexities of public transport legislation this bus runs on different legislation to a commercial bus service that Arriva run, which allows it to divert off a pre defined route to pick up pre booked passengers. Hence the need to book and pay in advance Best way to think of it is more like a dial a ride style service, where making pre planned regular journeys from the same locations is what it’s designed for, rather than an ad hoc journey where you pay on the day.

Iv just read the council information and it is part funded by the government it does not say for how long, there is an app you can download that gives you real time information and you can book journeys on the app. As iv said in my previous post my sister in law uses it regularly.
I had expected a bigger take up by passengers, normally I see about the three people on it
