VH2 have had a show on called the Indie 500 recently (featuring the best 500 indie tunes) and there have been so many tracks played that I have forgotten over the years. Sleeper, Shed Seven, Cast, Stone Roses, Garbage...loads of mid 90's stuff.

I lost interest in Cast after their debut album 'All Change'. Walkaway, Finetime, Sandstorm and Alright, all quality singles. I loved the 90's!

I had a quick google and Martyn Campbell, Ali Kane, Chris Sharrock, Simon Rogers and Ian Broudie are in the Lightning Seeds. John Power, John Timson, Paul Hemmings, Neil Mavers, Lee Mavers, Cammy, James Joyce were in the La's so I don't think so. Both bands did come from Liverpool though.

I'm currently listening to the 'Going For Gold' album by Shed Seven at the mo, you dont hear stuff like this on any radio station anymore so it is well worth buying the album

OK, another musical question. Forgetting Oasis, name 3 other tracks that have gone top 40 that Noel Gallagher has featured in.

Correct. He remixed Devil's Haircut by Beck and did vocals on Setting Sun and Let Forever Be for the Chems. He recently collaborated with Ian Brown on Keep What You Got too and I dare say he has remixed a few more tracks that I have not heard of too!
The Chemical Brothers have used another vocalist from a well known Manchester band. Who is it and which band are they in?
