Will it be worth going?
I imagine most of the players (both sides) will bring their deck-chairs with them.

Will it be worth going? I imagine most of the players (both sides) will bring their deck-chairs with them. The Hurst factor? Maybe both sides will have players trying to show they want to be in their respective managers plans next season? Elliot Bennett and Jack Price having a swansong, or proving they are worth consideration here or somewhere next season? A worry free, carefree, match, no last game relegation fears, just express yourself? Without the worry, all those near miss, should have been, chances go in?

Isn't it about time we "blew someone away" a la Matt Taylor?!

Couldn’t really care less, just hope I’m not bored s**tless as there’s been far too much of that at home this season - under both managers.
Might be the last time we see a fair few of the squad, some of whom deserve a bit of appreciation for their efforts over this and previous seasons.

Flanagan, Obrien, Bayliss, Bennett, Sraha? , Tulloch first few that spring to mind Dunkley is the most likely of the high earners the club will try and kee IMO Hopefully Udoh stays - sounds like he wants to stay, just the club need to pay him the going rate for a LG1 striker Marosi we have the option on, which is suspect we trigger, but sell to somebody like Derby and get a fee

Maybe Mr O’Brien will at last score his first (and last) goals for the club. He certainly owes us.

But it's still all to play for. We could yet catch Reading and clinch our traditional position of 17th in the table.

We all seem to think 17th is our natural place but actually it's not, it's even worse..... it's 18th! Of our last 7 seasons we have finished 18th three times and 17th only once So if we finish 18th that will be four times in eight seasons. What a time to be a Town fan!

That 3rd place finish is insane when you sit and think about it.

I doubt if Hurst will play any player that he doesn't want here next season. So, it'll be interesting to see what side he picks. With Cambridge, Burton and Cheltenham all needing to pick up points, we could finish just above the dotted line if Orient prevail. But I think we'll get a 1-1.

Remember this game well. Believe they scored last kick of the game infront of a near empty Station End as majority of the Orient fans had left Gay Meadow by then. Good times!

That 3rd place finish is insane when you sit and think about it. Especially with the slump in the last half a dozen games. Had we had a stronger squad like Blackburn and Wigan who knows what we might have done.

I hope it's a decent game and we make a proper effort. We're usually a terrible watch when there's nothing at stake so I really hope we don't just throw this away. I hope we get to see Omar Beckles again, just a pity Aaron Pierre won't be playing for us.
I haven't noticed Orient at all this season, it's like they've been playing in a different division. I can't even remember when we played there and what the result was, although I'm sure we must have lost.
That's not intended at all as a criticism of Orient. A newly promoted "smaller club" having, from the outside at least, an uneventful season and being under the radar in mid-table throughout (I think) is a good achievement. Much better than ours, for sure!

Didnt quite make it but they have had a decent season having come up from the lower division last season.

I'll miss this one today.😕
Why are we kicking off early again? As I see the other divisions kicking off normal time.

Sounds like retained list will come out pretty promptly which to me suggests decisions have been made and communicated. In which case we could definitely see some clear goodbyes today.
Will there be a nod to next season with the team or is it just carrying on with the best team that he can put out today? I imagine probably the latter with the same team out. Be nice to see some kids at least at the end but given the size of the squad available right now don't think it will happen

Well it gets it on tv which I think is the main driver - derby game is live on Sky and I presume they will cross to other games if need be too. But also makes it more of a spectacle as it's separate to the rest of the 3pm games. Championship will be the same next weekend I presume. I'm sure we've seen 5.30 kick offs for the same reason and could have been the case with League two today but clearly they've decided not to. Possibly as limited interest given that promotion is all sorted

I had a free £1 bet last night from William hill. popped it on qpr and turned it into £4.50, my biggest fear today is a dull end of season goalless draw, so have invested it all on 0-0 as a kind of insurance , I fully expect a goal now in the opening minutes
