Just seen a Bolton player on social media saying that towns second goal by Shipley was a fluke and he will never hit a ball as cleanly ever again. Obviously the Bolton manager didn't do his pre planning very well and show his players exactly the same routine at Reading only a few weeks ago. Very poor management. They’d be better looking at their own goalkeeper than complaining about fluke goals or time wasting. Arguably he should have done better with both our goals. shame we cant find the link and add a video of the identical goal a few weeks ago to it

Good strikes but a decent keeper might well have saved both of them.

Thinking of the Nurse situation, it seems to me that the club is very fair to players who suffer long term injuries, Grandison for example.
I don’t take an interest in other clubs so this attitude may be normal, but I’m pleased we don’t discard players easily.

If we are better than some then it's an "insurance policy" that agent's should consider when recommending their player clients a deal. Doubt they want to dwell on the bad things that might happen though, nobody does.

Jon Nolan has attended a couple of recent home games. No doubt he would be cheap as in non league football. Maybe Hurst thinks he can get the best out of him again. If we re-sign Jon Nolan, who's currently not playing for a team in the 6th tier, then the finances really are ****ed. A great player for us in that magical season, but if we're going down the bring back the old days vibe as a transfer strategy then we might as well bring back Dean Spink and the corpse of Arthur Rowley. we could all dig up yesterdays sick posts I guess
