Going to Orlando City v Austin which includes a post match 90s concert featuring Vanilla Ice. I'm not sure I'll stick around for that. First experience of MLS and would highly recommend. A few cringeworthy things which doesn't come naturally to us but largely a fantastic experience and in many way, far better than in England. A brilliant atmosphere with constant noise from one end and where they had 'legal pyro', open concourses with view of the pitch, self service bars/fridges throughout the concourses and being able to drink anywhere in the ground. The only downside was the cost of a beer, approximately $13 for a can! The football was a mixed bag, some quality at times but final ball was often lacking. Orlando had this great Icelandic wing back which Id love to say to Ricketts, Cotterill and Taylor, if you play 3-5-2 then you need this sort of player in your team. And I still haven't figured out the structure in the MLS as the two teams are in in the Eastern & Western leagues but played each other.

Not sure town would be able to afford scouting the Icelandic leagues!

Talking of Icelandic footballers, whatever happened to ex Town player Gylfi Siggurdson?
Was he ever charged with any offences? Is he back in Iceland?

Talking of Icelandic footballers, whatever happened to ex Town player Gylfi Siggurdson? Was he ever charged with any offences? Is he back in Iceland? His Wiki is a good read. 'To gain first-team experience, Gylfi signed for Shrewsbury Town on a one-month loan spell on 16 October 2008. Two days later, he scored on his league debut against AFC Bournemouth in a 4–1 win at the New Meadow' How things have changed!
The police investigation was dropped without any charges.
