Rudolph, Kallis and Pollock still to come, a partnership between any of those buggers could get them to within striking distance, they need to get rid of a couple of those before they relax!

Russell's test average is comparable to stewart's when he had the gloves!! Never replace old Jack, went to his farewell game at Cheltenham Festival last summer, was excellent day out, bit costly on the memorabilia though!!

There is only one other team in the world who could have pulled off such a recovery, the Ashes could be an absolute belter this summer.

A real shame to end on an anti-cliamtic note, after such a great year and a fantastic comeback after our paltry 1st innings effort. Haven't seen any comment from the umpires but it did seem a little strange to offer the light straight after Ntini had just smacked Harmison for 4 4's in an over, he seemed to be seeing the ball ok . Could Vaughan have offered to take the seamers off and bowl himself and Gilo for the rest of the overs, as light usually only offered if conditions put batsmen in danger ?

16 runs hit in bad light it's a joke the standards these days, i know its 'for the good of the players' but its rubbish. apparently tho, the light was the same as when they went off the other day, so they had to offer it again. England end the year unbeaten in tests, how much does ittake to win team of the year ta sports personality awards

I knew Minor could be relied on to put a dampner on the England cricket team's incredible 2004 Happy New Year Ant, just being a bit more realistic in pointing out the Aussies have won 5 Test Series this year, and we ain't played em' yet, if we turn them over then fair enough.

Precisely, if he had taken them off, they would have stayed on.
