Predictions, lineups and who is going please. I'll be on the coach, see you all there.
I hear if Reading have more crowd issues they have been threatened with sanctions. Who is going to join me in giving out tennis balls to the Reading fans? 🤣

Couple of us checking into the Reading Ibis tomorrow night. A little too early some would say, but we'll be match fit in terms of knowing the best pubs in Berkshire by Saturday, which could be crucial come 16:45. Can the same be said for Johnny-come-lately's such as darkshrew? Only time will tell.

Really need a win Saturday cos Lincoln away again on the Tuesday may be too soon for us. 3pts would keep us ticking over, 4pts would be great.

But 2 losses and I think we're doomed 🤦 Glad you are not in charge, still almost a quarter if the season left to play yet. 2 losses not good at all but lose them both and we might still not be in the bottom 4 🙄

Tough game. Reading on a good run of form at the moment, especially at home. 7 unbeaten, 5 wins and 2 draws. I would definitely take a point.

There is almost no-one in our team capable of scoring a goal.
That's my prediction, but my worry is we've got a director of football who is responsible for the recruitment of players who is either incapable of seeing that or incapable of fixing that, so either way is incapable

Grizzly.....I just look at the goal difference, and ours is shocking... generally the 4 teams that go down, have the worst goal differences,so if we lose the next 2,that ain't gonna help at all,and Cheltenham are on a good run too, which isn't helping.these next 2 games are very important, and we need to go all out,to get something out of them....imho👍👍

Massive game on Saturday. First ever trip to the Madejeski stadium for town against a team we e shared wins and losses with having played 56 times 14 wins each. Used to p,ay them every year but not since 92.
Despite their current position they seem better on the pitch but hopefully them playing Tuesday Saturday will give us the edge.
Tricky place to get to you can either go M5 or M40 to get onto the M4 ?
1-2 🤞

A win would put us on the same points as 4 other teams (think I'm right without checking). But the GD is of little relevance in terms of getting relegated. It's only relevant if we end up on the same points as the 4th bottom team, when yes it will count against us. If we get 1 point more (or 1 point less) than 4th bottom the GD doesnt matter at all. How many games have we got left, 12/13?? That means 36/39 points to play for, a huge number really. And we are fighting so I'm sure we will be ok eventually, though the quicker we start getting a few wins the happier we will all be.

Anyone know what the difference was between family (now sold out) and away seating? Are they in different areas like a family area?

Goal difference is relevant.....if we go into the last game, and we're 4 th from bottom, and there's 1 PT in it,from the team above, and we draw, and they lose....level on PTS,but they have the better goal difference...... we'll all be gutted!!!!🤦🤦😞

I'll be really disappointed if we lose this one. Most of the squad isn't up to L1 standard, we know this. MT had a lot of injuries to deal with, we know this. PH has had very few injury worries since he joined, we know this. We are playing better football yes, but the PPG is similar to that of MTs reign...with less injuries...
A draw away from home I would be okay with. Keep the points ticking over.

If not it's irrelevant. I'm hoping we will be clear of it by then. COYB

I'll be really disappointed if we lose this one. They are top of the home form guide with 5 wins and 1 draw from the last 6 so whilst any defeat is disappointing, it wouldn't be a surprise. Would gladly take a draw tomorrow

Reading Chronicle:
It is set to be a day of firsts for Shrewsbury Town on Saturday as Salop are to walk out at the SCL Stadium for the first time ever.
The historic club, founded back in 1886, were regular opponents for the Royals in the 20th century, meeting 55 times between 1951 and 1992.
In November, Reading threw away a two-goal lead in stoppage time to lose 3-2 at Croud Meadow, the first meeting between the sides at the New Meadow and a first meeting for over 30 years.
Now coming together for the reverse fixture, with a new manager in Paul Hurst, it will be the first meeting between the pair in Berkshire since the club moved from Elm Park in 1998.
Only 3,303 supporters turned out at the old ground in February 1992, a 2-1 win for the Royals, while in excess of 13,000 will be at this weekend's clash.
The Reading Chronicle are told that more than 700 tickets have been snapped out from those in Shropshire for what is a meeting between 16th and 19th in League One.
Shrewsbury aside, only 10 current EFL teams are yet to appear at the former Madejski Stadium, all of which are in the fourth tier this season:
Stockport County Mansfield Town Barrow Harrogate Town Morecambe Accrington Stanley Crawley Town Salford City Forest Green Rovers Sutton United
