Watched the first 10 minutes which was the kick of and one more ‘move’. Why so slow? Min 3/5 min break between each play. ridiculous!

For a Brit watching the Superbowl is like an American watching a Test Match.
We don’t understand why it takes so long or appreciate the intricacies and subtleties.

From what I saw in this morning's news it was Taylor Swift V Usher. No idea what the score was. All about the celebrities 💤💤💤💤💤

Says it all that it's on ITV for free. can you explain what it says ? It shows the sport is growing in the uk , originally when channel 4 first had it they couldn't even sell adverts and showed a blank page when the Americans went to commercials caught the end and then overtime on the radio , good finish It was also live on sky tv, says it all 🤠

Absolutely no chance of avoiding the result this morning with pictures of Kelce and Swift all over the news nevermind the back pages.
Fair play to Kansas, Reid and Mahomes anyhow. And you really do think there is yet more to come from them.

And you really do think there is yet more to come from them. I did avoid seeing the result by getting up early, not looking a my phone and tuning straight into the Sky highlights show. The show lasted 60 minutes, same as actual playing time so even allowing for adverts I didn’t miss much. Quite a thriller when the result wasn’t known and proof that conspiracy theorists were right with the CIA or whatever fixing it in the most complicated way imaginable.

Watched the whole game and thought it was a good one, at mean at least it wasn’t a blowout! Managed to watch the direct CBS feed so I thoroughly enjoyed the ridiculously overpriced American TV ads! Thought the halftime show was bollox!

one of my regrets in life is never having the opportunity to play a game of NFL, I did own a ball once and played with about 6 of us, I reckon I would have been a decent scrambling quarterback, John Elway mk II ;-)
I know I could look it up but does the NFL have overseas players who just arrive and play without any previous history ?

Many who have gone over have played before, one lad from London went over 2/3 seasons ago and played for wembley stallions if I remember right Some my best weekends were playing for Shropshire revolution in Telford playing in good grounds in Edinburgh,Leeds, Widnes I'm a half decent offensive linemen hoping to play couple more seasons when the kids are bit older as it takes a whole Sunday away Games are free to watch in Telford and a good team making playoffs 3 times in last 5 seasons at oakengates

I have a memory of the 1950s Fulham winger Tosh Chamberlain going to the States to try out is an NFL kicker. I can’t find anything online to confirm this. He was famous for his rocket shot and once broke his own ‘keepers ribs with a back pass. The Welsh rugby Union winger Louis Rees-Zammit has gone for try out as a receiver. I recall that the summariser in the C4 shows you referred to earlier was an English guy who played several seasons as a kicker in the NFL, can’t remember his name.

Managed to watch the direct CBS feed so I thoroughly enjoyed the ridiculously overpriced American TV ads! Better that than UK coverage, mind when they have to keep heading back to the studio to discuss the game. Its gets way too much that. I do actually prefer the adverts.

I watched the whole game live for the first time in my life. I normally cave at half time.
It's definitely got huge subtleties you miss if you just watch a few YouTube clips.
It's like a cross between Chess and Rugby.
All the testing each other out and then going hell for leather.
I ended up wanting the Chiefs to win because it seemed like some kind of weird destiny. It just set up for that to happen.
I started at 11.30pm and it finished in the last 3 seconds at 3.45am. That's a heck of a build up!
I don't care for some of the celebrity nonsense but that's only the Wags on show at the world cup.

I don't care for some of the celebrity nonsense but that's only the Wags on show at the world cup. I felt like the 1960s judge who asked ‘what are the Rolling Stones?’ I hadn’t a clue about who the blonde woman in the crowd was and her name wasn’t mentioned in the highlights.
